I've returned home. It feels nice yes.
But I already miss my friends in America.
Queenie.
Jacob.
Tina...

But of course there's things I gotta do. I have to finish my book, many unfinished things. The cold winter air is crisp against my face. It's colder here. Harsh.

I take a deep, soft breath.

There's a scream.

Of course.

I have a gut feeling.

A glance down.
There's a small trail of coins.
A few jewels.
Rings.

Niffler.

I'm quick to get up.

I don't need to check my case.

Of course it got out.

I didn't even notice that we had already boarded at the boating docks. All I was worried about was my Niffler. I needed to find it. And quick.

I pushed through the crowd.
"Excuse me. Pardon me. Sorry. So sorry."
Glimmering gold coins was all I could see.
As I made my way through people ended up falling.
Creating a domino effect.

The police officer was on me now.

I don't know why I didn't take precautions.
What else was I supposed to do?
I ran past the baggage check.
Sign in-out.

The trail was getting faint.
I picked up my pace.
"You there! Stop!"
People began to make a gap.

But then there was a girl.
I only saw her face for a split second.
And it was heavenly.
She smelt of a spring garden.
Fresh with flowers that where graced by the kisses of butterflies.

What felt like one hour was only 5 seconds.

We had bumped into each other.
I had no time to apologize.
The cold ground had met my hands as I had caught myself.
I recovered quickly but I couldn't say the same for the mysterious girl.

I grabbed her free hand that rested by her side.
It was cold.
I would've mistaken her for an icicle.
I grabbed her case and gently put it into her hands as quickly as I could.
Her eyes were closed.
She was rubbing her head.

"I'm very sorry, forgive me."
A quick apology and I grab my own case and fle.
I wish I could've given her a more proper apology.
But there was no time.

Out into the snow covered streets.
Where could it have gone??
The town.

To the jewelers.
The bank.
I rushed down Sapphire Avenue.

The trail was just about gone.
And I could feel that the officer was no longer following me.
But there it was.
Pouch full of gold and jewels.

I pull out my wand from my coat.
"Accio."
The Niffler lifts off the ground and flies its way towards me.
Putting my case in front of me I quickly unlock it. Open it wide.
Clothes fall out.
Books and glasses.
Out onto the fresh snow.

This isn't my case.

It's the girls.

Not paying attention the Niffler crashes into my chest.
I fall once more onto the cold, white blanket that cushions my behind.
Quickly, I grab the beast.
I'm not letting it get away again.
But I don't have anywhere to put it.

Looking at the garments on the snow a sigh emits from my chapped lips.
Tight hold on the Niffler I begin to put the belongings back into the case.
One by one.
She isn't a muggle.

There's books.
On potions.
Spells.
Glasses filled with crystals.
Herbs.

I make note of this as I close it.
I pull out my wand and look around.
The streets are empty.
I'll have to look for her later.

Mystery girl.

I apparate.
