I'm under the surface
I put on a show.
I feel the cool and soothing water.
I see the gold sun reflecting as I swim,
I twirl, spin all around.
I grow a tail and fins under the sea,
I turn into a mermaid with passion.
Now I truly fell at home!
There are other mermaid friends around.
We have an Olympics once a week;
We'll practice so we can win the prize.
We do tricks as we go.
In the end it's totally worth it.
I'm having the time of my life!
