Chapter 1: High school starting with issues

It was in the first weeks of freshman year in high school where Katie had met someone quite peculiar. She had been walking to the bus bay when she heard a rather masculine voice talking about a video game called Skyrim, it was for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and the PC (later that year, it would become available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Katie owned an Xbox One). Katie wasn't much for greeting strangers, but the topic seemed very appealing in her head, she turned around to see a rather messy haired boy, who looked exhausted. As she saw him, she proceeded to greet him an odd manor.

"are you talking about Skyrim?" she said questioningly, though she already knew he was, but she found it necessary to make it a question

"yeah, what of it?" the individual responded, sounding rather intrigued

The conversation escalated into an argument about RPGs, and which Katie thought to be the best RPG

It was quite a ridiculous ordeal, Katie had already had this discussion before, Dark Souls was far superior compared to Skyrim. At that time, she had believed that to be a fact, but later that year, she had played Skyrim, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Katie continued walking to her bus, still arguing her points.

"Well, I just think that Dark Souls is just better" she said firmly

"Well, I don't agree with that" he replied

The conversation led onto more and more details about their arguments.

Eventually, they had parted ways, Katie getting on her bus, and Charlie disappearing into the seemingly never ending crowd of people. The bus ride home was the usual thing she would expect when riding the bus, her listening to music, and everyone else not socializing with her. Once she had arrived home with her sister Katlyn, she walked to her bedroom.

Her room's walls were painted a light pink, and posters of anime were covering the walls. She placed her backpack at the foot of the bed, and sat at her desk, where she proceeded to ignore the fact that she had homework. She never liked doing her homework, as it was very boring and grueling to do. She had got into a lot of trouble for doing so, her grades weren't anything to be proud of, despite her being fully capable of arriving at school to pick up assignments, do classwork, and learn, she continued to slack off, missing days of school with fake excuses and feigning illness.

As you'd expect from someone who misses school, she played video games on a daily basis.

She had several hobbies, including drawing, writing, running, playing video games, listening to music, and along with many other hobbies. With many career paths to be interested in, Katie wanted to be an artist, specifically a manga artist. She was definitely incapable of getting into art school with her current grades, but she always put that off and said 'oh, I'll figure it out later' or 'it's too early to be thinking of this at such a young age'.

Katie was also known for having quite the vulgar and offensive sense of humor, she would always think up the most sexual and offensive things to tell her mother. She would also be extremely self-deprecating in desperation of making others laugh at her misery.

She turned on her monitor, and opened a can of soda, it was time to sit on her ass all day and watch dumb cat videos.

About half an hour later, she received a notification about an email arriving in her inbox. She proceeded to open it and look at its contents. It was a picture of her while she was eating, but it was taken with her being unaware. She sighed and deleted the email, though it was very stupid for her to ignore a stalker, she still did so. She had been stalked since about 8th grade, she never said anything about it, because she was never bothered during her school days. But that doesn't mean that she wasn't scared.
