Chapter 2: Shower Thoughts and Sharing Secrets

A few weeks later, Charlie and Katie had become closer friends. They both talk over a messenger app and they both share their issues and such.

Katie had woken up, it was a Saturday, and she had promised to go over to Charlie's house to hang out. She got out of bed, removing her pajamas as she walked to the bathroom. She turned the faucet to a comfortable temperature, waiting for the water to heat up, she removed her bra and her panties. Her chest was nothing to be admired for, in fact, she was quite flat. She sighed, stepping in the shower.

She gasped as the water hit her back, it was a little hot. Being the klutz she is, she forgot to check if the water was good to sit under. She quickly adjusted the temperature, sighing in pleasure as the cooler water hit her delicate skin. She wet her hair thoroughly. She applied shampoo and conditioner, and started washing her body with bar soap. She traced her body, mapping out its structure. She ran her hand over the area above her secret area, there was a little bit of hair. She silently thought about various things. 'What are guys' opinions?' ran through her head multiple times.

She contemplated it, deciding that it really didn't matter, and she shouldn't be so self-aware. She washed her thighs and her calves, then her feet. Once she was done washing her body, she grabbed her toothbrush. She acquired the toothpaste, applying a decent amount of it onto the toothbrush. She scrubbed, spat, then scrubbed again. She washed out the shampoo and conditioner, turning off the water.

Katie grabbed her towel, drying herself. She wrapped the towel around her hair, letting it dry to a damp state. She quickly realized that her dresser was indeed located in her room, and she needed a new pair of panties, and a new bra. Katie wrapped the towel around her body, holding her breath as she made the small journey across the hallway and into her bedroom. She grabbed a fresh pair of panties and a matching bra.

Once Katie was done and her hair was dry, she returned to her room. She put on casual clothes, a t-shirt and denim shorts. She stood in front of the mirror in her room, tying her hair into a ponytail, then she untied her hair. She was deciding how she should wear her hair.

"Hmmmm, I wonder what style Charlie likes" she said without thinking

"Wait, why does that matter?" she came to realize what she said

"I'm not dating him, so I should make it look how I want it to look . . . Right?" She took a second to think about it

She texted Charlie

"Up or down" she sent a picture with it

A second later, he responded

"Up, it looks cuter"

"Thanks :3" she responded

She put her hair up, and grabbed her bag. As she walked out the door, she texted her mother that she was going to a friend's house. Katie was to be back by 7:30, it was 1:30. As she walked down the street, she stared at the passing clouds. They were pure white and the sky was a radiant blue. The weather was nice, she closed her eyes and enjoyed the cool breeze as she walked down the sidewalk.

"It's such a nice day today, I wish it was always like this in Arizona" she sighed, enjoying it even more

She soon arrived at Charlie's doorstep. She knocked on the door, it immediately flew open

"Hey" Charlie smiled

"What was that reaction time?" she seemed surprised

"Yeah, I was waiting" He nervously laughed
