Pledis Entertainment has never had another girl group in 8 years. Not until recently it was announced that Pledis Entertainment would have its first survival show called Pretty Sixteen.
16 trainees will compete together for a spot to debut. They will be split into 2 teams. Minor and Major. Major being the girls who are ready to be idols while Minor being the girls who still need more training.
The group will debut as 5 while 2 runner-up trainees will be known as the hidden members. As the group makes comebacks, one girl will be revealed. The final group name will be revealed on the last episode of Pretty Sixteen.
