Another day consisting of the same routine. I woke up to my phone quietly playing Roger Rabbit by Sleeping With Sirens. Since I'd showered last night after practice I decided not to shower today. It felt like something magical was going to happen today, so I wore a dress.

The dress was a grey short sleeved, tight fitting dress. It was kind of chilly outside, which was rare because I live in San Diego. but, decided to wear a jean jacket. To finish the look, I wore my high tops, and did a messy bun. I had enough time to go through Starbucks and grab a coffee. on my way to Starbucks, I plugged my phone into the aux cord and listened to The First Punch.

I might seem like a girly girl, but I still listen to bands. The day went by in a blink of an eye, and sure enough, I was making my way back home. I went inside and I didn't seem to hear the yelling, which was quite weird. I went to the living room, but nothing. i came to the conclusion that they weren't home. I just shrugged and headed for my room.

Before I even got to my room, I heard a knock downstairs which made me groan because I was already upstairs. Either way, I still made my way downstairs and opened the door, to find two officers waiting there.

"Hello... how may I help you?" I asked. "Hello, by any chance are you Scarlett Victoria Najera?" "Yes sir, that would be me" I answered slightly confused. "Well we have some heartbreaking news. Your parents seem to have died in a car crash at approximately 8 this morning". I didn't know how to respond, I was in a state of shock. "You need to pack your things, you will be sent to an orphanage until a relative is willing to take you in"

***Skip to getting to the orphanage***

A nice looking lady was waiting for me at the front door. She told me that they had started a search for any living relatives I had. I also learned that her name was Mrs. Navarro, but that I could call her Crystal.

4 weeks later***

Crystal barged into my room excitedly. she had a big grin on her face as she began telling me that they had found relatives willing to take me in. at this news I jumped up and nearly screamed. "However, it seems as if your parents weren't actually your parents, and we have now found your true parents." I just smiled wider, I always knew we weren't related.

"Start packing, they come to pick you up at 9  tomorrow".

A.N. so I'm kind of excited to how the book is going to come out. if you're reading this, I'll give you a hint, it has to do with Tony.
