Sasuke and I have been fighting a lot more now, we don't even sleep in the same room anymore. After we had sex and everything, he just turned his back on me. Right now, we are eating dinner and Sasuke is half across the room speaking to a random girl that he brought onto the ship once we docked on one of the Sunset Planets. I sighed and just stared down at the bowl of steaming rice in front of me. I had already eaten the meat off the bowl but I didn't really want anything. I stood and started to head out when I bumped into someone. I looked up and found it was Sasuke. I was going to whispered an apology when he grabbed my arm and pulled me out of the room. I ran just to keep up with him. Once we were outside, he pushed me against a wall and glared at me.
"What has been going on?" He asked.
I didn't know what he was talking about so I stayed quiet. He intensified his glare making me shiver and avoid his eyes. He gripped my wrists tighter making me cry out.
"Tell me, what's going on between us?" He growled.
I stayed quiet since I didn't know what to say. I really didn't know what he was going on about. I heard him sigh and felt the grip on my wrists loosen. I was free to go but I stayed where I was waiting for something, maybe a kiss or something to show me that he still cared. I didn't get one, Sasuke just walked off not even looking over his shoulder. Tears began to blur my vision but I didn't let them fall since the other crew members came out.I went over and grabbed my items; I was demoted from 'Captain's Lover' to ''scrubber'.
Nothing really changed after all. I was still the same useless person I was before. I began to scrub the deck with the supplies given to me by the other scrubber. We had become friends since we now hung out a lot more on the deck then we ever did before. Her name was Korba. She was Mizoruya's sister who was terribly sick but since Sasuke had rescued them from some old broken-down ship where their parents died, she had gotten better. We usually scrubbed then went down to the chef for our reward which was usually a small amount of money and some food.
"So, Naruto, I saw you and Sasuke...did he say anything to you?" Korba asked me as we headed over to the chef who was standing next to the crew member that was stirring the ship.
I saw the girl Sasuke was talking to at dinner, she was crying and screaming at a door, Sasuke's door. Korba pulled me away and continued our path to the chef.
"He just wants to know what's been going on with us...but I don't even know." I answered.
She nodded and dropped the subject knowing I was uncomfortable. Once we got to the chef we were led to the kitchen and given our payment. I left Korba to eat on her own. I started to feel as though someone was watching me as I walked up the steps and through the deck until I reached my sleeping chamber.Once the door was in view I sighed and held my stomach as it did some flips. I went over to my bed and just sat there. I thought over what had happened after Sasuke woke up from his sleep that day.
Sasuke had woke up and pulled out of me, I had moaned a bit but still slept. Once I felt his heat leave, I woke up. He was glaring down at me with disgust written all over his face. I thought I had done something to the bed but when I opened my mouth, he just screamed at me. I cried and cried until he left to the bathroom. I gathered my things and just ran out the room until I bumped into Kobra. I would never forget those eleven words he had screamed at me.
You disgust me, get out of my face! I hate you!
I sat there just rethinking all of this when the door opened and Sasuke came in. I ignored him as he sat next to me. I scooted away and just stared at Korba's empty bed. Sasuke pulled me closer but I just stood and walked over to Kobra's bed and sat. He sighed and looked at me. We were silent for a bit until Kobra came in and grabbed her shower things and disappeared again. Sasuke opened his mouth but shut it quickly.
"Naruto, I want to talk." Sasuke said and itched his neck.
I sat there messing with my fingers as I waited for him to continue. He stood and came over to me, he knelt in front of me and grabbed my chin gently. He made me look into his eyes, they were a blood shot red. I was about to take my chin away when he leaned forward and kissed me. I didn't react since he pulled away quickly.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you. I don't know what came over me that day. I-I'm really sorry. If you forgive me, come to my room. I...I love you." He apologized and stood.
I stared at the space where he was as he walked out the room. I just sat there staring in to empty space.
