I stalked towards the family waiting by the bridge's end, with John in tow. They noticed me but continued talking amongst themselves. They most likely assumed that I had no business with them, typical, all except for one. As I grew steadily closer, the young boy continued to stare at me in an unnerving way.
John noticed my discomfort and was able to say but a single word before we came upon them, "Behave." I rolled my eyes and stepped towards the parents of the boy. It's not like me to mince words so I just came out with it, "Sir, your mother is dead. You know why. I haven't figured out yet how you know, and that doesn't happen often. You are either the murderer, accomplice, or perhaps just at the wrong place at the wrong time, although I doubt that highly." I heard John sigh heavily.
The man froze in shock, then feigning offense, badly I might add, he replied with this stupid little number, "What the hell? Just who do you think you are!?"He tried to make himself look bigger and more intimidating. Boring. He reminds me of Anderson. I turned to his wife and looked her up and down, "Well that's fortunate, I suppose." I pushed my way between them, while saying, "She's been cheating on you. Shame you killed the only woman who loved you for your greedy wife."
I almost smiled as I heard the yelling that quickly ensued. After walking a little bit of a ways, I realized something was amiss. I looked behind me and instead of John standing there, it was the boy. I looked farther and saw John speaking with the police.
