I stared at the boy as he moved toward me making hand gestures. "W-what do you want?"  I stuttered uncomfortably and backed up a bit. "You were about to get hit. I was trying to help." I glared at him, then suddenly feeling nauseas. "Ugh, gah...." I swallowed back the vomit and steadied myself. "Are you okay?" He reached toward me, I assumed that he wanted to mess with me, I jumped away.

"Calm down, alright?" He mumbled, as he grabbed my arm and held it. "The speed you got pushed isn't good for your body."  I snapped my attention to his face. His cheekbones showed through his face. I hesitated for a bit, studying him. His hair was glossy black, with grey eyes, but if you studied it you could notice the tiniest glint of green in his eyes. He was much taller than me, almost half a foot, causing me to have to look all the way up. "Why, why did you come to bother me?" I asked him more irritated than before. He was silent for some time before he spoke. "Well I've told you my name, Kyoko, and I'm here on a mission to protect you."Protect me from what?" I asked him confused. Non of this was making any sense. Why would anyone need to protect me.... I'm the last person anyone would want to protect.
"He groaned and grabbed my hand pulling me away from the commotion of the city block. As we walked away I noticed myself shivering. Kyoko looked at me and pulled out a towel out of a duffel bag I didn't notice before. "So, is this how you greet girls where your from?" I said with a bit of annoyance in my voice. He looked at me, he didn't smile, but his expression showed every bit of amusement. "I'm from Japan. I was sent here to deal with an infestation. And I was told that you are important to this situation. That is why I came. To bring you back to Japan." I stared at him in total awe. "Back to Japan? Are you serious?" He seemed to want to laugh. I stopped walking and stood in front of Kyoko. "First of all, you are not taking me anywhere. Second, I already had to deal with enough Japanese culture from my parents. So you are not getting me anywhere unless you have a valid reason." He seemed to study me for a moment. I looked  defiantly into his eyes. "What?"

"Nothing." He responded and started walking again. I looked at him, a bit surprised, by his reaction. Usually aguy would get mad and try to get all innocent with me. But this boy was different. He didn't show an interest in my looks or smart talk. "What's your problem?"

He simply sighed and looked at me with stern eyes. "Listen, do you want a me to leave you alone or not?" I remained silent but nodded. "Well then just be quiet and let me take you to our next location." He pulled me around a corner that I realized was about a block away from my apartment.

"Okay, so our coordinates are---oof!!" I kneed him in the gut and he fell into the wall of a building. I took of running towards my apartment where I heard Max barking. *huff, huff* "Almost.... there...." Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a tall skinny figure following me, dodging all the people and items in the way. Right as I made it to my door, I felt a hand grip around my stomach. "Nope." Kyoko pulled me back and held onto me. "Ugh lemme go!" I stomped his foot a couple times with my foot. He lost his grip, and I made it back to the apartment building again.

*After going through the stress of the elevator.....*

"Oh my god, Max! You won't believe it! There was this guy, and he pushed me out of the way of a car. But then started saying that I need to help him and go with him to Japan..... Ugh why today of all days." I groaned as I practically peeled my sweaty clothes of. Max just watched me with his normal silly look on his face . I sighed and later relaxed on the couch. I suddenly hear a knock at the door. I grab my robe and walk to the door. "Hello?" Nothing. I go back but not after hearing another knock this time more impatient. I walk over to open the door. My jaw drops as I see Kyoko once again standing in front of me. "Hey, how are you doing?" I  felt lightheaded and my body felt like lifting. Then a pair of arms caught me, right before I hit the ground.
