14. The Truth

Jaime P.O.V.

I didn't like what happened and I probably shouldn't have done it, but I needed answer for what the Reach said and that was the best way I thought I could do it. I was wrong about that, but now I know she definitely keeping secrets. But I just don't know if that is what I wanted to get or I should have done. Maybe I shouldn't have done it but it seemed like I should do it for the team, right?

M'gann P.O.V.

"Are you alright, Katelyn?" I asked whilst knocking on her door. "Superboy said you were upset early."

"Come in," she somenly replied.

"Are you okay?"

"No."

"Do you want to talk about it?"

"I'm not sure."

"It can be better to get your feelings out when you talk to someone," I said whilst I sat on her bed.

"Me and Blue had an argument."

"Okay, what was it about?"

"He asked me if I was keeping secrets I lashed out, it was pretty bad."

"Uh, huh."

"It was getting more heated until Superboy interrupted."

"So that's how he knew."

"Yeah, the curtains are pretty thick, but that won't stop sound travelling," she laughed.

"Yeah, did you get this nice of room before?"

"With the Reach I had my own room that was better than this, but I understand why this is like this. And until I was 3 I had my own room, my parents owned a mansion. And then for the 8 years after that I stayed in a tent with my sisters, it was pretty roomy for a tent, but we didn't care at the time."

"Didn't you freeze if you were there for 8 years?"

"No, we didn't. I don't know why though."

"But along the lines of the argument, do you keep have any secrets?" She stiffened up at this. "Well, non teenaged secrets because I understand if you do have those. Most do." She still didn't answer. "I can tell you mine first, if you want."

"Okay."

"Well, first I don't keep this much of a secret anymore, but I once did. I still keep it from new members in case of bad reactions to it. You see I'm now a green martian, I'm a white martian. I'm not sure if you would know this, but white martians were violent. One say they decided to kill the green martians, my parents decided to move me then. I now use my morphing to hide it. I prefer pretending to be a green Martian for a number of reasons, it makes me feel better."

"Huh, that makes my secret quite smaller, but then I'm not sure how mine effects me as a whole. You see a couple of days ago, I started craving fruit and, well, blood." Okay, reasons to keep secrets. "I managed to drink some fruit and it stopped both thirsts. And I do mean that. I could sick the fruit dry with a pair of fangs I recently got. And then after the argument I could preform magic with this wand, using the spells from the movies we watched. I didn't purposely keep the secret away at first because it wasn't there, but when it developed I kept it a secret for what it could mean and what people would think of me."

"Well, that has nothing wrong with it. All of us here have different habits, eating habits. Kid Flash often had to eat a lot to keep up his speed and strength. But one thing I do recommend is not to go after blood. That would be quite bad to stay on the team. But other than that everyone will accept it, I think, but the blood thing is committing a crime and although we might commit minor crimes every so often that might be considered worst. Do you mind I tell Nightwing about this?"

"No, I don't mind actually. Thank you."

"Your welcome. Bye."

"Bye!"
