(Y/n)'s POV

Father(drunk): Stupid, filthy freak! You just don't know that you were born here by accident do you??

My father hits me with a broom over and over on my back, which is covered in rich, red blood... my blood...

Father(drunk): You just don't know when to quit crying for yer mum! You should know that she never loved you from the very start when she was pregnant with you!

My father brings it down again and this time, it was enough to almost black me out and break the stick itself. He finally left and I went to clean myself up. After cleaning myself and getting ready to go to sleep, I cry in the pillow. I hate my life. Sometimes I wonder why I was even born a half cat. Both of my parents were human for all I know. So why was I the only family member who was a half cat? I fell into a deep sleep thanks to my tears making my eye lids turn heavy. I dreamed of not being a cat and that my parents were happy as I run towards them into their open arms...if only that dream was a reality...

The next day...

I woke up to get ready for the day. As I went down the stairs, all I saw was my father sprawled out in the couch still holding the broom stick. I made him breakfast and left it near him and went to town while having a piece of cloth on top of my ears and tail. I don't want anyone else thinking I'm a freak....

Baker: Ah! If it isn't my favorite customer, (Y/N)! What can I do for you?
(Y/N): *smiles politely* I would like 12 pieces of bread and a piece of cake.
My father doesn't know I get cake for myself.
Baker: *gives him the breads in a bag and a cake to him carefully* 7.89. Have yourself a nice day.
(Y/N): *gives him the money and leaves waving and walks on the sidewalk looking down*

I never wanted it....this life made me the only person everyone will turn their heads to and ask out of their pityness if I was okay. I wish I was never born...
