//THE NEXT DAY//

(During Class)

-Mark went outside the classroom-

-3 minutes later, the teacher left but Mark isn't coming back yet and it's almost dismissal time-

TIME: 2:45

-Jacob noticed that Zander isn't there too-

-Jacob got worried so he went outside to look for Mark-

-Jacob heard something loud and it sounds like someone hit the locker. He went there and there's no one but he saw a shadow of 2 people *The first person was dragging the 2nd person* Jacob followed the shadow but the bell rang and all the students came out so the hallway got crowded and he didn't see the shadow anymore-

~JACOB'S POV~

-I don't know where Mark is... We need to go home now!-

-While I was walking, my phone vibrated...-

-There was a text.....from Mark-

*text*

M: Hey Jacob

J: Mark! Where are you??

M: I'm heading home...But...I can't go home with you

J: Oh...okay...Are you alright?

M: Yeah...I'm gonna go now

-I don't know what happened to Mark...I hope Zander didn't do anything to him-

-I went home-

-I ran to my room and lay on my bed...I called Mark but he didn't pick up....I texted him "Hey are you alright? Why aren't you picking up?" he still hasn't replied yet...-

-I did my homework first-

-After doing my homework, I checked my phone-

-There is a text message from Mark-

*text*

"Hi! I'm sorry I didn't pick up earlier, I was busy and I'm fine..."

-I replied to him-

"I'm sorry if I interrupted you"

-He answered quickly-

"No, it's okay :)"

-When he's not okay, he usually add " :) " to his texts and the way he replies sounds different too.... There's definitely smthg wrong-
