Author's Note: Hey! This is my first story on wattpad and my first one in a while. I am still getting used to this site and figuring out how to post chapters and all that junk. Anyway, I will try to update this story as often as I can. I am still in school and that comes first, plus I have other things in my life to deal with.
Okay, let me shut up so you can start reading!

Chapter One : Run-In On The First Day
There was no point in trying to hide.
Zack made that clear.
"Adrienne it's going to be awesome. Come on first day of high school. You get to work your way up on that social ladder, little sis," He explained to me last night during dinner, with a mouthful of meatloaf. I was more concerned over those little bits of chewed up meat flying out of his mouth and hitting me in the face, than I was over this whole high school dilemma.
Yes
I called it a dilemma. It's not being over dramatic. Not even a little bit.
I sighed as I finished getting ready. I already showered, straightened my long, almost waist length brown hair. I put on some makeup - mascara and lip gloss, just to be dressy for the first day. Okay. Actually to keep my best friend Stella from kicking my ass over how I barely act like a girl. She should be happy today thought - makeup and a dress. Where's some confetti when you need it?
I look in my full length mirror in the corner of my room. I was wearing a navy blue floral dress, with a grey cardigan. I had on combat boots; not very feminine, but comfortable.
I grab my army colored messenger back pack and open the door to my room, leaving, and heading down into the kitchen. I might as well get this day over with.
I walk into the kitchen and am instantly bombarded with all the people running around. You think I would be used to this, but I never am.
I am Adrienne Caldwell, and I am the youngest of seven children.
Yes, seven FREAKING kids.
And I am the only girl.
My older brothers - Jamison (Jamie for short), Kenneth (Ken or Kenny), Spencer, Ashton, Zachary (Zack) and Truman, and I all live together. Our parents aren't in the picture, and I rather not think about it right now. So anyway, the oldest, Jamie raises us. Ken and Spencer are both away; Ken is an actor living in New York City and Spencer is away at college. So the ones technically living here are me, Jamie, Ashton, Zack and Truman. Our cousin on our mom's side, Dominic, lives with us too. Plus our dog Harley. That is seven mouths in this house!
I walk past Dominic running to the toaster, catching it as soon as it pops up. I take a seat next to Truman, whose turn it is to make breakfast. He sat down a plate of pancakes and bacon.
"My goodness, Truman cooking. I can't believe no girl has snatched you up yet," I joke as I put two pancakes on my plate.
Truman rolls his eyes, "Yeah, unreal right?"
I chuckle at his comment and proceed to eat my pancakes.
"Hey where is the rest of the monkeys?" I ask Dominic, referring to my brothers. He is still munching on toast.
