Chapter 21

"Sister? " I asked him. I don't know what the hell he was talking about. I mean is he randomly calling me sister?

"Better step-sister " he said and poured me a drink.

"What are talking about? Are you drunk or something? " I said and carefully took the drink. I don't know whether he spiked the drink or something like that.

"Don't worry. I haven't added anything in the drink. " he said. Did I said that out loud?

"No you didn't sister " he said with a smirk on his face.

"So what's with this sister drama? I don't understand that "I said and took a sip of the drink he offered.

"Well you seriously want to know? " he said and I nodded.

"Yes "I said and took a sip of the drink again.

"Well do you remember how did your mom and dad separated" he asked me. At this  question my heart stopped.

"Oh you do remember. Your dad cheated on your mother "he said like he was telling me about weather.

"How do you know that? " I asked. Not many people knew that my dad cheated on my mother. My dad didn't wanted to spoil his career.

"Um..... Guess what I was born because of that incident." He said. He handed me new drink and took my empty glass. That's when all started making sense. He was son of my dad and his ex secretary.

"I mean how is this possible? " I said. I am still shocked about this news. The fact that I had a step-brother and I didn't knew about this for 18 years.

"You know when two people have unprotected se-"

"I know. I know that jeez " I cut him off and drank the hold drink in one go.

"Hold your horses there " he said and took my empty glass.

"Does my father know that you are his son? "

"Nope"

"What? why? " I asked. If my father doesn't know about this that means I am the first one to know about this.

"Well when my mom was pregnant she told your dad that and your dad just called her slut and gave her some money and told her to get rid of that bastard. To get rid of me"

"WHAT? " I shouted. And everyone started looking at me.

"Sorry. "I said to them and they all got back to what they were doing." I mean why would my dad do that. He is not that kind of person. " I said.

"Oh but he is that kind of person."

"So are you going to tell him that? "

"We will talk about this later in personal. Right now you should go and find your prince charming." At the word prince charming my heart beat stopped for a second and my checks turned red.

"How do you know about that? " I asked.

"Well I know everything. I am a good brother who keeps tabs on what his sister does and makes sure that some wrong person doesn't comes in her life "

"So you think Zach is a good person? "I asked.

"Well from his reputation no. But when I talked to him. He seemed like a nice person to me" he said.

"So now are you stalking me? " I said and we both laughed at that.

"You look beautiful today " he said.

"Thank you " I said and gave him a smile.

"Now go find him. If you have some problems you know where to find me"he said and winked at me.

I don't know where to find Zach now. I am just going to ask Jacob about him.
After searching for few minutes I found Jacob and Lexi. They both were talking more like making out in front of everyone.

"Ahem..... Do you guys know where Zach is? " I asked and they both stopped sucking each other's face.

"No... No we haven't seen her any where "Jacob replied.

"Okay...... If you guys find him tell me" I said and made my way towards restroom.

As soon as I entered the rest room I regretted coming here. I even regretted coming to this party. The guy who I was going to confess my feelings was sucking another girl's face.

I quickly closed the door behind me and went to the person who I know will definitely care about me.

"Hey!  What happened? Why are you looking like you are about to cry "

"Something happened. Can I stay a night with you at your house? " I asked.

"Of course you can. Wait here I will be back in two minutes and then we will go" he said.

I should have known that Zach doesn't care about me. Some one must have dared him to make me fall in love with him and he actually did it.
But I am never going to admit that.
