"I told you numerous times to stop cutting classes!" The teacher yelled at me as I flip the pages of my science book, I heard her groan. "That's it, I'm expelling you from this school." I raised my head and finally faced her fuming red one.

I stared at her body, so what if she does expel me from this school? It's the school's loss, not mine. "Do it, then" I said nonchalantly and stood up, making my way towards the door.

"What have you done this time, Seulgi?" that's the first thing I heard as soon as I entered the house. What a nice greeting from my mom aye? "Daily routines," I shrugged and tossed my bag on the couch, plopping myself on it after. "We've been transferring you to different schools almost every year!" she blurted out.

"I know, I know." I nodded, not looking at her as I switch the channel on TV. "Oh God, what am I going to do to you?" She asked no one in particular, running her fingers through her messy hair in frustration, that's it! I'm transferring you to Seijin High!" I could already see the white smoke coming out from her nose.

"Whatever you say, I only have to go to school because I have my goals." I said and shrugged, still not looking at her. I saw her smile through my peripheral vision, "but that doesn't mean I'll stop doing my routines." which is breaking the boring rules.

"I don't think you can still maintain your shitty routines there," she whispered, enough for me to hear. I looked at my mom in the eyes, confusion plastered all over my face. "The school I'm sending you in is not just an ordinary school I normally send you to." She said with confidence.

Oh yeah?

I stood up, "how sure are you?" I asked. "Based on my research, 80% stubborn students change when they start studying Seijin High." I was scared for a second. No, I am not going to be controlled again.

"I'm not going to that bullshit school," I told her, she smiled, a mocking smile. "Are you afraid?" She asked, obviously mocking me, I furrowed my eyebrows and inhaled deeply. "Me? Afraid? That word isn't in Seulgi's dictionary."

"Then, why don't you go to Seijin High?" She asked, I paused for a moment, maybe because I don't want to change, maybe because I don't want to be controlled anymore, maybe because... "I don't want to embarrass Seijin High just because they can't and never will change me,"

"We'll see about that, young lady. I'm sending you to Seijin high and that's final." She finalized her decision, I didn't argue what's the use anyway? "one condition." I smirked. She raised a brow, telling me to go on and tell her the condition I have in mind.

"Buy me a penthouse."

Her eyes widened, silence surrounded us for a brief moment, "it's not like I'll burn the penthouse down," I chortled. "Being with you for years, I could say you'll never hesitate to do anything even planting a bomb under Obama's house if you feel like it."

"It's not like I would burn my own house, wouldn't I?"

She sighed "fine," I smiled in satisfaction, "I want my penthouse ready tonight, I'll pack my things, I'll be moving there today." She opened her mouth and was about to say a word but before she could, I walked away- towards my room to pack my things.

Stepping out of my car, I walked inside the building. I was greeted by people wearing their uniforms, I walked towards the counter, "you must be Ms. Kang." The lady with bright red lipstick and a freaking weird hairstyle spoke, I nodded.
