Chapter 3: A Stranger View (Yuya)

I was watching from afar where I see a girl with long red and green hair which is surprisedly fitting for her, and crimson red eyes, having a conversation with his sisters.

Yuya Sakaki, she has been on my mind for quite awhile. She nice, fun, a great Entertainer; and did I mention that she has a beautiful smile. I sighed, wishing I could talk to her, but I usually chicken out before that could happen.

But this time, I won't chicken out, I'll just go up to her and talk to her. Alright, here goes nothing.

I walk towards Yuya and her sisters with a big smile on my face as I waved my hand, "Hey Yuya!"

My crush turns around and smiles, "Hey!" She waves back to me.

Annnnd, there goes my confidence. Great... I chicken out again. I sometimes hate myself for being so shy around people, especially my crush!

"Um... is there something you need?" Yuya asked.

'Crap, she talking to you, say something, you idiot!' I mentally panicked, "Oh! Um-- I was-- Um, you see--" Great, now I'm stuttering like a complete fool.

Yuya raised her eyebrow, urging me to continue while her sisters were looking at me with a strange look on their face except for the one in purple who was smirking in amusement.

"I-I love-- love-- your entertainment!" I sputtered out before I mentally slap myself.

"Oh, thanks!" Yuya says, smiling which in turn made me blush bright red.

"Yuya!"

A male voice called out, causing me and the girls to turn their heads and saw Yuya's best friend, Yuzu Hiragi, waiting at the front gate along with his brothers.

"Coming Yuzu!" Yuya shouted as she waved back with a big smile on her face. However, this smile seems to be more genuine than the one she gave me.

Her sisters got up and immediately went over to them while Yuya looks back at me and wave bye to me before rushing over to Yuzu's side.

I watch from a distance as my crush, and her best friend were both having a conversation with each other before Yuya suddenly latch onto Yuzu's arm and drags him away, Yuya's sisters and Yuzu's brothers follow closely behind them.

Watching them, made my chest hurt. Yuzu's lucky that he got someone like Yuya as his best friend. Sometimes I wish I was in his place, but I know that'll never come true.

The next day, I was walking over to lunch, and when I made a quick turn around the corner, I crashed into someone.

"Ow..." I groaned before I slowly sat up and rub my head.

"Oh my god! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to crash into you!" A familiar female voice apologized.

I froze in place before slowly look up and saw Yuya looking down at me with a worried look on her face.

I blushed bright red before I quickly got up, "It's fine! Don't worry about it!" I say as I flap my arms around like crazy.

Yuya sighed in relief, "That's good to hear."

I slowly calmed down and shyly ask, "S-So why you're in a rush, Yuya?"

"Oh, I was looking for Yuzu, he supposes to meet us at lunch, but he didn't show up, so I went looking for him," Yuya said.

I felt my heart crack a bit when I heard Yuya mention her best friend, "O-Oh I see, well good luck on finding her," I say, cracking a fake smile, "I have to go, I don't want to keep my friends, waiting."
