Pain.

Pain. A word often associated with depression. But what people don't get, is that there are more ways to cause yourself pain, without cutting. There is scratching, biting, hitting and pinching yourself, just to name a select few of the physical pains you can cause yourself. There are mental types of pain, which, in my opinion, are worse. Pain can come in so many forms, but it is useless. Sure, it can keep your mind off of the hardships of life, but it does not help make those hardships any easier. I know, many people cause themselves pain to remind them that they are alive, but it is not the best option. It would be better to go out and do something. I know, that is easier said than done, but it is true. Your pain just brings more to those who care for you. I can't say I am innocent of pain. I am willing to admit, I cause myself pain. On a daily basis. But not how most people would. I never leave scars, so that no one knows I hurt. I'm not saying you should hurt yourself, but if you can't stop, do it in such a way no-one around you can tell. Please. For them.
