Lux's P.O.V

The whole ride back, I had to admit I was a bit shaken up by what I had just seen. Clearly Ashoka was too, she was frowning the whole ride back and didn't look at me once, except for the occasional glare when she caught me looking at her.
I don't understand what she's so mad about... But still, I hate it when she's mad at me.
Why can't she just understand that this is for the greater good?
At least she didn't blow her cover back there, or else the whole plan would have failed.
A small part of me wanted to listen to her. A small corner of doubt in my mind kept nagging at me, telling me that she was right, and that Vizsla would double cross me.
And that small bit of doubt was starting to get bigger, after seeing the Death Watch burn down that village and how quickly Vizsla can change his mind.
But I had to stay focused.
The Death Watch hate Dooku just as much as I do, and they are my best option to get my revenge for him killing my mother.
I had briefly considered Ahsoka helping us, as a Jedi, but that idea quickly perished after considering what Ahsoka had said to me earlier.
If she was right, and the Death Watch had sworn to destroy the Jedi, then Vizsla would probably get distracted and kill Ahsoka instead of focusing on Dooku.

Our speeders came to a halt outside of camp, and Vizsla ordered a meeting inside his tent.
Before she got too far, I tried to catch up to Ahsoka.
"Ahsoka," I called, but she pretended not to hear me and kept walking.
I ran up behind her and grabbed her arm, turning her around to face me. She still looked angry.
"How can you be so stupid?!" She yell-whispered.
"What?" I was honestly confused.
"Don't play dumb with me," she said. "How are you still planning to go through with them after what they just did!" Her voice sounded desperate, and just as confused as me.
I looked away as she kept talking.
"Those were innocent people!" Blah blah blah.....
"I know!" I snapped, interrupting her.
"But they're dead now, and there's nothing more you can do about it."
I didn't mean that. I agreed with her, I really did, but if I told her that then she would insist that we leave. And that's never going to happen, no matter how bad things get.
"I don't believe this..." Ahsoka muttered.
"Hey kid!" A Death Watch soldier shouted, interrupting our conversation.
"The boss wants you inside, now!"
Without saying a word to Ahsoka, I walked towards the tent.
I guess Ahsoka had started to follow, because the soldier held up his hand. "Tell your woman to wait in another tent, she isn't welcome here."
I looked back at Ahsoka. She hesitated, but then turned around and walked away.
I can't afford to feel guilty. If this mission causes conflict between us, then so be it. As much as I hated the thought of us fighting like this, I wasn't going to let her get in the way of my revenge.
