I sat in my room and listened to music and doing my homework. Since I was now in high school I had a ton of work to do. My parents would freak out if I got ONE B+..actually they'd beat me..I know it sounds bad..but it's been happening since I was about nine years old. My mom was NEVER happy it was very rare to see her smile and I barely ever saw my dad. I also have an older brother named (B/N) and he's a real dick. He's only nice when he's high (and yes I mean drugs) sometimes I wish I just had a different family and a different life.
(Y/N)!! My mother basically screamed. I came downstairs a little scared.

What is this?! *holds up report card and has a B- in a class*

*smacks*
I held my cheek tight holding back tears. My mother ripped my report card and walked away. I sighed and went upstairs and locked the door. All I did was cry softly to myself.
*time skip*
I wanted to do something new so I grabbed an old journal I'd never used before and placed it in front of me. I grabbed a black pen and opened to the first page. I put the date and started to write a small paragraph.
*Journal Entry*
Well today could've been worse..my mother usually beats me more but today it was just a slap across my face.
*draws a little picture of a monster* That's my mom.
