Prologue
People can tell you they know what is best for you. They can tell you they know what you're going through. They can tell you the right way you should deal with situations. They can explain why their way is right way and why you should follow it.
But the truth of it is, that they aren't you. They can never totally understand what it is like being you. It's your first time being you, you have no idea what you are doing, but no one does know what they are doing really.
They can tell you, you suck at something, or you aren't good enough. But the truth of it is, they are comparing you to their standard, their way of thinking. They aren't comparing you to who you want to be.
They can say what they want to you and make you do what they want, but in the end, only one thing matters, the choices you make.
You can only take so much of being told what to, do how to do it, and then what you did sucked. So who cares if other people don't approve just because their wisdom tells them differently. In the end, you are the only person who really matters.
Right?
