I remember when I was little and my mom told to never go outside. She said that not all days will be happy ones and that she won't be by my side forever..... That's when the nightmares came. Darkness, dogs barking in the distance, and then giant trees towering as high as the eye could see. The next day I was taken away from my family, and was afraid to even go in the backyard of my new owners place.
To make matters worse I lived right next to a big, grey husky that would always bark at things that pass his territory. I even met this stray cat Rusty I believe his name and he told me that a cat once had to go to go to the hospital because the husky attacked it. So I never went close to the fence again.
After a year or so I got used to the environment and finally decided to take short walks around the backyard. This was the first baby step that I took to becoming comfortable outside. But this didn't last long because the rain had to ruin it. I got so scared that I didn't go outside for a week. Now that's what you call a scardy-cat.
