Elliot's pov
Time. They say time heals old wounds. They say only time will tell. Now it's my time. Time to graduate.
"Elliot! Let's go!" Jackie screams from the other side of the stadium. I laugh and follow her to the entrance and wait until they call us out.
"Welcome ladies and gentlemen, why don't we give a round of applause to the class of 2015!" (sorry for making it 2015)
We all go out and sit in our seats.
Principal Sterling comes up on the stage and speaks.
"Good afternoon, thank you all for being part of our students lives. I want to tell you guys, young graduates sitting here, that I am proud of all of you. I hope to see you in the high school reunion in a few years. Don't miss me too much." principal says making us laugh
I turn to the audience and spot Elijah and the boys sitting in the front row. Scar is jumping up and down making Dylan smack him in the head. I laugh and turn back to the front to see our ASB president, Octavia take the stage.
"Hello class of 2015! We made it!" Octavia screams making us cheer
"For those of you who don't know me, my name is Octavia and now let me begin my speech." she pauses
"As children most of us have always been asked, what do we want to be when we grow up. Most of our answers where president, cowgirl or cowboy or things like prince's or in my case a princess." she pauses and laughs with us
"At age ten or eleven, we where asked the same thing again but this time our answers would be, Actress, singer, or in most cases doctors and nurses. Then now that we are grown up and are asked what do we want to be or do our answer is, who the hell knows" she pauses again and everyone laughs again
Octavia clears her throat, "where was I? Oh right, Now that we are leaving can I say this, you upcoming freshman or seniors keep your shit together" she laughs
"Anyway, class of 2015, today is a wonderful day for us! Today we make history. I know most of us are saying goodbye to loved ones in a few weeks, but we will always find a way back to each other." she pauses
I turn to look at Jackie and the others and smile at them. Knowing that I will forever love them as family.
"In the future ahead of us, we will go through heartbreak, faliure and so on. You high school sweethearts that are here right Now, don't let go of each other." she pauses again and looks around before continuing
"Right now as I speak and look around, I see our future teachers, doctors, scientist, police officers, CEO'S, dancers and yeah you get it." she stops again and laughs with us
"Today we don't just say goodbye to people, we say goodbye to the child we once were. Today we become adults. Then again we will have to come back here for that damn reunion." we all laugh at what she says
"This is it seniors, we made it!" she says before getting of the stage and they start handing out the diplomas.
"Elliot Sanchez" I stand up and walk to the front as my loved ones scream for me. I shake hands with principal Sterlings as I grab my diploma and walk back to my seat and wait for us to be dismissed.
Principal Sterling nods at the guy putting on music from his phone as we all get up and throw our caps in the air while saying "we made it!" and This Is How We Do It by Montell Jordan blasts in the background.
I pick up my cap and head out to meet Elijah and the others.
"Good job, kid" Elijah greets me and then lets the others greet me
"You made it E!" Scar picks me up and spins me around while i laugh. He puts me down after a few seconds. I turn to Martha and Jackie to introduce them to the guys
"Martha this is Elijah, Scar, Ace, And Dylan, boys this is Martha, Jackie, Seth, August and Miguel"
They all shake hands when Miguel gets on his knees in front of Jackie
"Jackie, these past few months you have made me so happy, baby I want forever with you. Will you do me the honour and be my wife" Miguel asks
We all look at Jackie who is crying and just nods her head as a yes, making us cheer
"Party at mine" Jessica tells us and smiles at me. During the past month her and I patched things up. So did Brandon and I. No more drama for now.
-4 hours later-
"Wooooh!" A drunk August screams as Club Can't Handle Us by Flo Rida comes on
I laugh and take a sip of my fifth beer while shaking my hips and body to the beat.
Elijah and the boys left two hours ago to make sure I'll be settled in once I go to Miami to be my own CEO.
Aiden left to New Orleans already. Jackie and Miguel will be gone to New York in a few hours so they aren't drinking. Seth and August are moving in together and staying here with attending college.
As for me, I will be proud owner of Elliot Industry. A business of making the world a better place.
My name is Elliot Sanchez and I am finally happy.
