They brought him to the hospital and I saw them rushing him in he was screaming I knew he was drunk he comes home almost every night drunk or high and that when we would abuse mom and I.
I walked back into moms room and she was awake and the first thing she said is we are moving to Kansas.
I saw a paper and a pen on the table next to her bed I looked at it...
They were divorce papers mom had already signed it.

My heart sunk and sat down I thought about it
*my family is getting broken up, but it already has since dad started drinking.
Maybe this was good for the family*

Mom told me to take the papers into dads room so I did I saw my dad laying there and his heart monitor was going crazy.
I screamed for the doctors they told me to wait outside of the room, they closed the blinds and I ran to moms room balling my eyes out.
