Author's Note: This is once again a short story I wrote many moths ago and I edited it a little bit. Tbh, it's really cute and I'm quite proud of myself, hehe. :)

Jackson is in his room in GOT7's dorm. The other members went grocery shopping five minutes ago and he wanted to stay. He isn't feeling well, he said. They believed him.

Well, actually, he really isn't feeling well, mentally. He has been thinking every day and night and kept bottling up his emotions. The members always say that he could tell them everything. All of them felt his sadness for the past few weeks and they try to talk about it but he shuts them out.

It's not about missing his parents who live in China.

He thinks about being gay.

He's scared. He's scared of telling them and being judged. He doesn't want to lose fans and friends. That's why he tries to hide his feelings.

Still, one of his members is making it difficult for him. Mark. They were roommates once. During that time, Jackson fell in love with him, his smile, his personality and just everything. Now they are in different rooms and he doesn't see Mark that much.

But he's still thinking about him.

What else can you do when you're in love? This one person means everything to you. And when this person doesn't love you back, it hurts.

~

Now he is walking around in the dorm. As he walks past Mark's room, he stops for a second. He hasn't been in this room for a long time.

Remembering the moments he had with Mark, he smiles. Mark doesn't talk much, but when they're together, he always tells Jackson a story. It doesn't matter what the oldest says, he loves listening to him. It's a chance for him to look at that boy's perfect face.

His favorite thing in the whole world is to make Mark laugh. Whenever he tells a joke and earns his cute laugh as a reward, he can feel the butterflies in his stomach. Mark's happiness means everything to him.

His thoughts are battling each other now. Should he take a look? For five minutes, he tells himself. He shouldn't risk getting caught. After sleeping in the same room with Mark for a long time, he knows that his former roommate values his privacy. Just five minutes, then he'll leave.

But as soon as his hand touches the handle, he reminds himself that Mark could still be in the room. So he knocks first. No response. Carefully he opens the door and peeks inside. Mark's room is messier than he thought. Not having a roommate probably lets him be himself a little more.

On his bed lies an open notebook. Jackson can't hold back his curiosity. After fully scanning the room, he walks to the bed and picks it up.

It's Mark's diary. Since when does he have that? Now he's intrigued. Jackson hesitates at first, but then he starts reading.

"So many things have happened recently and I am so confused. Jackson in particular. We were roommates once."

Jackson's heart jumps. Mark is writing about him? What could be so confusing about their friendship? His curiosity tells him to keep reading.

"Now we sleep in separated rooms and I don't know if I should be happy about that or not. To be honest, I really do like h-"

A sudden noise at the door interrupts him. He turns his head and spots Mark, who is looking at him confused and angry at the same time.

"What are you doing in my room?!"

"I-I needed something and I couldn't find it so I am searching in your room, just in case you might have it!"

"So why are you looking at my personal stuff? I don't think that whatever you're looking for would be right there."

Jackson notices that he still has the diary in his hands and immediately drops it on the floor.

"I'm sorry Mark..."

He looks down and tries to hold back the tears welling up. This is the worst that could happen. Mark, whom he loves, is now glaring at him in disappointment. He's obviously angry. Jackson shouldn't have done that. He broke Mark's trust.

"Jackson? Are you okay?", says Mark softly, after discerning Jackson's despair.

"Yeah, I'm fine." He tries to leave, but Mark grabs his arm.

"Jackson, my friend. I'll forgive you. But can you please tell me what's wrong!"

His voice got louder. Does he actually care about him?

"Don't bother listening to me. You won't understand..."

"I will try."

Jackson looks at Mark with tears rolling down his cheeks.

"I love you-!"

Before thinking, these three words escaped his lips and he instantly regrets it.

No no no.

Mark looks at him in surprise.

"Oh..."

For a minute no one says a word. Jackson focuses on the wall, unable to stop crying. Suddenly a warm, soft hand touches his face. Mark is silently wiping away his tears.

"Jackson, I-"

"Don't! I already know! I can't bear to hear your answer."

"What do you think I wanted to say?"

Mark facial expression changed and he stopped stroking his cheek. Jackson lets out a frustrated sigh.

"That you don't love me back? That's what everyone would say, am I right?!"

"If you would let me speak then I'll say what I feel! Gosh, Jackson, shut up and listen to me just once!!"

Unintentionally, Mark started to shout at him. Jackson is startled and takes a step back.

"Now, what I wanted to say was that I love you! Jackson, I love you! And I'm just as scared as you are..."

Jackson shakes his head.

"It's hard to believe. I swear, if this is a joke-"

Mark cuts him off by kissing his lips. Jackson tries to free himself from Mark's tight grip on his face but Mark won't let him go now. He puts all his desperation into this kiss and finally, Jackson relaxes and kisses him back softly.

It's like they're exchanging everything they've ever felt and also let go of their fears. For Jackson it feels like a whole new world.

Mark loves me.

They don't stop kissing until they hear the main door being opened and the members entering. Jackson blushes and smiles at Mark, who can't help but laugh at Jackson's cuteness.

JB walks up to them after hearing Mark laugh.

"What's so funny?" he asks smiling.

"Oh, it's nothing important. But I feel better than before now." Jackson answers.

"That's good. Come and help us prepare dinner."

Chuckling, JB leaves the room.

Before going, Jackson gives Mark a peck on the cheek. The boy winks at him with a huge grin on his face.

"It's gonna be our little secret."

"Yes, but only for a while."
