Town

*Hey guys,  anyone who is reading at all, Author-chan here! I know, I know, still me, and I know you just want to read the story, BUT before you do; I have an announcement! My schedule has cleared a bit, and I will post a part once in the morning or mid-day, and then once about 8-9, everyday! So without further adu, part 2, town*

Lisa grasped her sister's hand as they crossed the bridge into town, "Rose," she whispered, "Remember, don't draw attention to yourself, stay with me, and don't talk to strangers." Rose nodded. 

They entered the marketplace in town, the stands were everywhere; apple stands, food stands, meat stands, necklace stands, whatever you could imagine; Rose looked with sparkling eyes at the stands. She gasped in awe at the necklace stand.

"Lisa, hey Lisa," she said as she tugged her sister's arm. Lisa looked down at her, "What?" she asked. 

"Can we please please pleeeease get some necklaces? Pleaseee?" she begged as she tugged her sister's arm. Lisa looked over, "Not too expensive," she muttered. 

Lisa took out a small magenta velvet bag and undid the drawstring. Some bronze and gold token-like coins tumbled into her hand. "We can look," she said with a heavy sigh.

They walked over, Rose looked at all of the necklaces with wonder. She looked at the lapis necklaces, the agate necklaces, all of them. Then she came across a rose quartz chakra stone. necklace, it was cheap. 

Meanwhile, Lisa was looking at the pins and brooches. A particular one caught her eye; it was a butterfly brooch, with a ruby implanted in the center. Lisa checked the price, 15 tokens, more than what she had.

Lisa walked over to Rose and her quarz necklace, "How much is it?" Lisa inquired. 

"5," Rose said. Lisa nodded and handed the money to the stand owner. They began to walk away, as they did Lisa grabbed the brooch and slipped it in her pocket.

"Now, onto our real business," Lisa said, "We need milk, meat, vegetables of some sort, eggs, broth, and herbs." Rose nodded, "Okey-dokey artichokey!" she said. 

They paid for what they needed, but then Lisa met up with Rose. Her face turned white, "No no no no no," she said. She rushed over. Rose was fighting with an older woman over her necklace, breaking all three rules: being away from Lisa, talking to strangers, and drawing attention to oneself. 

Lisa rushed over and grabbed Rose by the arm. "Come on," she said, "Let's go!" she shouted a little louder when Rose didn't comply.

"That lady tried to take my necklace!" Rose shouted. Lisa looked around worridly, s, "It's fine, come on, come on, hurry up, people are gathering!" 

But it was too late, people had gathered. Everyone had seen her. "WITCH!" they shouted "KILL THE WITCH!" 

Lisa groaned and grabbed Rose by the arm and started to run, but the crowd followed. "WITCH! KILL HER!"

Lisa turned and looked; the crowd had started firing arrows, and poisoned arrows at that. LIsa grabbed her sister's arm and ran faster. "I told you NOT TO DRAW ATTENTION! YOU BRAT! NOW WE BOTH ARE GOING TO GET KILLED!!!" Lisa screamed at her sister, clearly just losing her temper. Rose started to cry. 

Lisa groaned and ran faster. Then a terrible noise made her stop in horror. "No..." she whispered

*Hey hey hey, It's me author-chan! So don't you love the cliff hanger? Anyway I'll update some more tomorrow, can anyone guess what happened? All my chapters are going to be about this long. Anyway, tell me what you think, and if I should do more... As i write this, I realize, I have changed a lot of what I did in the game, and it's a lot darker and more suspenseful, so please... tell me what you guys think! Anyway, until next time, Peace! ✌️️*
