Today was the day I officially turn 18 and I couldn't be more excited. I've been packing all morning since the moving truck was going to get here at 2 and it was 12 right now.

I was packing up my makeup when my phone went off telling me I had a text

I looked at the screen seeing it was Heaven

Heaven💕: HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY GIRL HOPE YOU TURN THE FUCK UP TONIGHT. LET'S GO OUT TO DINNER!

Thank you! Let's go. I'm down

Heaven💕: Around 8?

Yeah sounds good

I put my phone down so I could finish up. My parents called me in the morning to tell me happy birthday but they were dry so I just said thank you and hung up.

I was finally ready.

I loaded my most valuable things into my car. My best friend was going to come help me move.

He has been my best friend since kindergarden. He was never a fond of Cassey but I always tried to give people the benefit of the doubt but it was a waste With her

When I was done he was pulling up. He got out his car and leaned on it as I made my way over to him

"Happy birthday baby girl" He said picking me up spinning me around

"Happy birthday baby girl" He said picking me up spinning me around

"Thank you Quise"

I met Marquise when I was 5. I used to go to school in Brooklyn since that's where my grandma stays and my parents weren't ever home. We were inseparable, until my parents took me out and sent me to a private school here in Lenox Hill when I was 10 but we never lost touch. When I met Cassey I introduced them to each other and they seemed to click but then he told me she wasn't my real friend but me being me I gave her a chance.

"You really moving out huh?"

"Yeah I need to get away from my parents" I said grabbing his hand dragging him into the house
