The Darkness To My Insanity

As the dark night falls on the small town, I sit on the edge of my favorite place. A cliff. It's cold out, but I don't really care as a cool breeze flows through my hair. I need to keep my mind off things for a while. I lay back against the ground as I look up to the beautiful stars in the sky. I smiled under my black mouth mask. Everything was calm and peaceful, until they came. I close my eyes for one second and next thing you know my wrists are handcuffed and men in blue uniforms just proudly smiling down at me. "Young lady you are under arrest for the 28 murders that had happened in the past month."an officer said as two cops dragged me to their car. I started squirming and moving a lot to try and get free. "Peter get the syringe needle, looks like we'll be needing that today"the officer sighed as three more policemen tried to pin me down against the car. I started panicking after I saw the dude named Peter come close with the syringe needle in his hand. 'No no no no NO!!'I yelled in my mind as a policeman tried to hold my head still. I then felt the needle inject in my neck. I started to get dizzy and the world started to fade. Then I blacked out.

' "My condolences
I'll shed a tear with your family
I'll open a bottle up,
Pour a little bit out in your memory
I'll be at the wake dressed in all black
I'll call out your name, but you won't call back
I'll hand a flower to your mother when I say goodbye
Cause, baby, you're dead to me," I heard someone sing. I looked around. Darkness. Everywhere. I then saw a bright light shining at a distance. I ran closer and closer to the bright light as the singing got louder and louder.
"I need to kill you
That's the only way to get you out of my head

To silence all the sweet little things you've said

Wipe you off the face of my earth
And bury your bracelet

Six feet under the dirt," I then realized I was the one singing.

The light was coming from inside a house I so well recognize. Manny, my boyfriend. I look inside through the window and see him and another girl. It was the same girl that bullied me and tried to kill me not too long ago. They were both making out and laughing at how stupid I had been to not realizing that they've always been together. I felt pain in my chest as I bursted out crying. I then started to feel a strong sense of anger taking over me as I grabbed an ax that laid on the ground beside me. I broke in through the window as they both looked at me with smiles on their faces. I began hysterically laughing as their faces changed to fear at the look of the double ax in my hands.
"Rainy days and black umbrellas
Who's gonna save you now?
Can you cheat from underground?" I sang as I swung the ax as hard as I could and stabbed the girl's stomach. They screamed as blood splattered everywhere. I then swung and hit Manny in the leg. " My condolences

Cause, baby, you're dead to me" I kept singing as I reached in her blood wound and pulled out her intestines. She was slowly dying. I then wrapped them all around her neck and laughed as I started choking her. "YOU MONSTER!" Manny yelled as he took out a pocket knife. "I'll mourn you when you go

I'll mourn you when you go"I just kept singing as I sat on top of him. I laughed as I pressed the ax against his throat. He then swung and deeply cut my right cheek. I grabbed my cheek and saw a ton of blood. Fury took over as I cut off both of his arms and made a bloody mess. He screamed in pain and started cussing at me. I grabbed his pocket knife and carved a big smile on his face. I smiled and licked the blood off his cheeks and then cut open his chest. I saw his beating heart slow down. I looked at him and laughed as I pulled it out. " I need to say sorry
That's the only thing you say when you lose someone

For all of the stupid shit you've done
So now I'm really sorry, sorry for being the apologetic one

You would think I was crazy"I sang and insanely laughed as I saw myself in the mirror by the door, but then as I saw my right cheek, I started to feel disgusting. I shook my head and smashed the mirror. "At least now no one can hurt me"I whispered as suddenly all the dead corpses appeared all around the room...and that's when I saw the faceless man again.'

I woke up and regretted it as a really bright light shined against my face. I sat up and looked around. The walls were white, the ground was white, the ceiling was white, and my clothes were white. I quickly stood up and ran towards the white metal door. I then fell as something pulled me back. I turned and saw chain on my left ankle. I started to panic and start pulling on the chain that was chained to the wall. I wanted to scream, but couldn't. I got up and sat at the edge of the hard bed. I put my head in my hands and tried calming myself down. I then noticed that they took off my mouth mask too.

I started scratching my left wrist and biting the skin off my hands. I was scared and being scared always made me want hurt myself. I was broken and being broken lead to my sanity to fade away. I sat all the way against the wall and slowly began to laugh. My laughter grew louder and louder until the metal door opened.
