Your POV
Alright, your only task is to buy groceries and head home Y/N. Don't be distracted.
You have to go home even though a part of you badly wants to explore this city that your family and you had just moved into.
You walked out of the grocery store with multiple grocery bags. You are walking down the street when all of a sudden, your eyes trailed a swarm of beautiful butterflies flapping their wings. They were flying towards a certain direction. As you sniffed, a tinge of sweetness flows into your nose.
Curiosity got the best of you so you decided to follow the butterflies. Soon, you found yourself in a forest and instantly regretted your actions. You were in the middle of the forest, with no more path ahead of you.
The rocky path stops at right where you're standing at. Not too far away from you, was a slouching figure of a man sitting on a log.
He is suspicious, why is he in the middle of a forest?
Acknowledging that you are absolutely lost in this thick forest, you thought that it'd probably be better to ask that person for help. You did not want to admit that you're actually scared of what that stranger will do.
You thought of all the possible scenarios before finally giving in to fear. You wanted to get home as soon as possible because it is also time for dinner.
Your mother will be extremely mad if you missed dinner without informing her. The sad thing is, you didn't have your flip phone with you so you couldn't contact her.
*sobs*
That's it. Your heart wrenched as he continuously sobs. You cursed at your kindness but you also needed his help.
You made small but firm steps towards the man.
"Hey.... Why are you crying?" You asked as you bent down to look at the man.
"......" The man ignored you and just stared infront of him.
His hair colour was stunning and you couldn't help but feel flustered since now that you got a closer look at the man, you could see his beautiful features.
How his cute nose looked totally perfect to you, making you want to bop it.
How his alluring sharp brown eyes was attracting you to him. Making you feel like you're being sucked into a galaxy in his eyes. It felt warm yet chilly, as if there was another world in his orbs. You looked at his plump lips and found yourself lost in the moment.
You're enjoying too much of this because it was your first time seeing a beautiful man up close. Your cheeks started to burn and you quickly tried to hide it by turning around. This was the first time you ever know how it is to actually blush. You had never reacted like this for your whole life, until you meet this guy right in front of you.
Oh my goodness Y/N, you're supposed to comfort this guy, not check him out.
"Hey, don't cry. Do you mind telling me about it?" This time, you spoke firmly with a louder voice. You felt that it was both weird and right for you to ask such a question when you first met a person, the latter taking 95% of your mind.
The guy being lost in his own world, did not realize that a girl had caught him crying. He was taken completely off guard and slowly turned to look at you as he started sniffing.
He cursed his vampire senses, wondering why he was unable to sense your presence. Usually, even when he was not really minding the surroundings, being a half vampire still allows him to detect the presence of different beings around him.
