Sailing

Georgie's POV:
Today was the day. I had to wear cargo pants when we went to the island. *sigh* I'm not happy about that. Hopefully they'll be tight fitting. I threw on a cute crop top and some shorts at the moment. We didn't have to go until later. I fixed my hair and put on a little makeup. I grabbed my clipboard with my notebook and walked towards the deck. Chapman was walking by and he said "hey Georgie." I smiled and said "hey Jack. Where's the deck?" Chapman smiled and led me to the deck. "Here it is. Have fun." He said as he looked at the rowdy boys. Slivko and Mills laughed actually they were cackling at something. Cole shook his head while smoking a cigarette. They had a hose or something and were trying to spray each other with it. I walked over and sat next to Cole. "How long do you think it will take them to notice I'm here?" I asked Cole. "Give it 5 minutes." He said as he inhaled. I saw Mason taking pictures of the boys and I smirked at her. She did the same back to me and I said "watch this Cole." He set my clipboard down and made sure nothing would happen to it. I walked over to where the boys were and Reles stopped laughing. Mills looked at him questioningly and then saw me. He smirked and Slivko panted and said "what's going on?" He had his hands on his knees and he wasn't facing me. I said "hi." He turned around and said "uh, uh hi. Hi." Mills laughed and Reles snickered. I bit my lip and said "you guys are playing with the hose?" Reles held it in his hands and nodded. Cole said "don't include me." Reles took the opportunity to spray him and Cole said "that's it!" He stood up and yanked the hose from Reles. He sprayed the three men and Mills said "Cole! Stop! Stop!" Slivko said "we get it! We get it!" Reles said "I'm sorry!" Cole threw it on the ground and then sat back down in his spot. Mills grabbed it and then got Reles. I laughed and Slivko peeled off his shirt. I watched him take it off and throw it to the side. He noticed I was watching and a blush spread across my face. Mason said "look here you doofuses." Mills threw the hose to the side and Reles stood next to him. Mills pushed me in the middle as Slivko stood behind me. I put my hand on my hip and Slivko stood over me. Mason took the picture and gave us a thumbs up. Mills sprayed me with the hose and I gasped. "Mills!" I shrieked. He laughed and Slivko smiled. I grabbed it and got him back. I laughed and Reles managed to get it from me and he went to spray Slivko. Slivko grabbed me and put me in front of him. He used me as a shield and I squealed as the cold water hit me. I could feel Slivko's hands on my hips, holding me in place. I said "Reles stop!" He got Mills who was cackling. Slivko removed his hands from my hips and looked at me. He rushed over to the record player he had and it began to play Time Has Come Today. I smiled and began to sway my hips to the song. I heard a camera noise and saw Mason taking pictures of me dancing. Slivko said "can I?" I smirked and he spun me around really quick. I squealed and kicked one foot in front of the other. Slivko smiled and said "yeah!" I turned around and my back was to his chest. His shirtless chest. He swayed me back and forth and I smiled to myself. Mills took off his shirt as well and Reles chased him with the hose. Mason said "look here!" I smiled really big and said "smile Reg." Mason snapped the picture and said "good job guys." I looked up at Slivko who was still smiling. Mason took some more pictures of the guys spraying the hose at one another. Slivko let go of me and got sprayed. I giggled and Mason snapped a picture. She laughed at the men and I did the same.

I went to sit down next to Cole and I wrote a few things down in my notebook.

The men are very fun
Slivko is very cute
On the way to the island we all played in the sun with the hose, making the day go by quicker and faster.

I snapped out of my thoughts when we were all being called into a meeting. I quickly dried off as did the men. Victor Nieves, was explaining how this was going to work. He introduced Bill Randa and Houston Brooks along with a woman named San. "We're going to be dropping seismic charges that will tell us all about the island." Houston said. "Wait hold on, you're dropping bombs?" James asked. Houston said "just think of them as science materials. For us scientists." Slivko said "hear that boys? We're scientists now." Mills and the rest of the guys laughed. I giggled and a man named Steve, who happened to be a scientist; said "you're not scientists." Sass dripped from his voice and Slivko snickered. I laughed to myself and Steve eyed me. I looked at Chapman who explained the extraction plan and the landing procedure. "Get suited up." Chapman said. Everyone stood up and began to walk out of the room when I squeezed my way through people to get to Chapman. "Why didn't you go home?" I asked. He looked down and said "I'm Packard's right hand man. So if he wants to go on another mission then I'm required to go. This is my last one. I can't wait to get home. To see Billy." Billy was Chapman's son. He always wrote to him and all he wanted was to be home with him. "You'll be there soon Jack." I said. He nodded and I hugged his taller figure. He sighed contently against my hair and I pulled away. "Just use Billy to motivate you." I said as I began to walk away. I made my way back to my cabin and changed out of my damp clothing. I slipped a pair of panties on and pulled my cargo pants on. They weren't too bad. They were tight fitting so I could deal with it. I slipped on a tank top with a light shirt over it. I pulled on some socks with my combat boots and grabbed my bag and shoved my notebook inside. I began to walk towards the helicopters and Packard did the same.

I climbed into the same helicopter as James and Slivko was driving. I sat across from Mason and James. And I could see Slivko. I took a breath and whispered "everything's gonna be ok."
