Victor's POV
This hot steamy shower calms me as my mother yells in the door to "Hurry up and get dressed". I reply to her saying "Yeah Yeah" sounding very sarcastic. I turn the water off and dry myself with a towel. Tonight we're going out with the Peterson's. Every other weekend we meet up, our family and there family get together. Why we have dinner with them is a question that can't be solved- Mom knocks on the door hard and says "Hurry up and get dressed we don't have all night".- I rush and put my pants, then run to my room and grab any ol' shirt. I grab my phone and headphones and run out the door. Faintly I hear my parents arguing, it always makes me feel bad hearing them talking bad to each other. As soon as I open the door to the garage they're in the car acting as if nothing happened. I opened the door and automatically put my head phones in and tune them out. Mom turns from the front seat of the car and taps me to make sure I hear her with out the head phones in. She says "How's school?". Even me being 17 years old about to graduate I still hate answering those kind of question. I never know what they want to hear. I shrug my shoulders and say "Alright I guess, kinda boring if you ask me". She looked at me empty like if she wandered off thinking about something else. She nodded slowly and my dad started the car and began down the drive way.
