Chapter 4 - The Fax Number

After looking over the elderly rough reports of the case I decided to go and visit the Father. Of course I had no idea where he could be , except I was looking for a Mr Jones with a 10 year old boy. Looking back at the report I noticed a fax number on the bottom - 753509

With having no choice , I got up out of the mediocre coffee shop and began to walk down to the station. The station was located in the deserted part of London , Not far off from where poverty reigned supreme : The underprivileged and sick resided here , they have no where else to go , where the corruption , the death fulfilling passion of the Government or as I like to call it the devils at the round table.

Bracing myself I strolled into the rutty run down police station , passed the usual strange man who stood outside to read his newspaper. I went straight to confront Jessica about the fax number I found. Jumping to alarm , Jessica began to suspiciously question me.

"Where did you find this?" Demanded Jessica

"It was left on a blank sheet of paper , Jess I really need to track this father if I am going to solve this case" I responded. Jessica seemed to beam with anxiety , like a teenager frightened of the thoughts of others. Even I was scared.

"Mason" Jessica spoke "This Fax number it's my Fax number , But I swear I was never on this case , Surely it must be a mistake ".

Shook with unorthodox thoughts , I replied "Jessica , I know this is very confusing for you but I need you to go back & check all files linked to your Fax. I need to know where this father is living"

Jessica sat in silence at her OCD oriented desk , but then she agreed and instantaneously got to work.

I have to admit , I felt a strong sorrow for Jessica. Her life had never really been easy : Kicked out at the age of 7 , Her mother , Sarah , wrongly accused of the faults of her uncle. Her uncle murdered her father in blood of jealously - He believed that her father took Sarah away from him , it's a broken story. A tale for another day.
