This is a true masterpiece
First of all the animation is amazing
And second of all it has probably one of the best stories I've ever seen in a animated short. The development for the two characters is truly amazing. This is how short animated romances should be, development from both sides. You can't have one perfect partner and one imperfect partner. As you can see they both have goods and bads to their luckiness. Jinxy Jenkins (the male) clearly is too scared to do anything dangerous. This is shown because of his unfortunate luck. However, Lucy Lou (the girl) is very outgoing towards things that involve danger. She has never ever been hurt by any crazy adventure and no matter how many times she tries she can't even go on adventures. The fact that this is such a well done romance is because it doesn't say ROMANCE! right when you see it. Sure you can tell by then end it was clearly a romance but it doesn't start like that. It starts with a feeling Lucy had never really experienced, pain. This is why I don't enjoy too many romance books. It focuses too hard on the fact that their feeling love when the two characters should feel more. It's about feeling something you've never felt before. Lucy was shown pain by Jinxy and that got her interested. Jinxy was shown proper fun by Lucy. This develops the romance so well, and literally only within two minutes.
