Another life

Chapter one

Perhaps in another life
we can be together.
Perhaps in another life...
we will be happier.
Maybe we won't feel this pain...
we won't spend each day worrying if either one of us is the next to go.
We will be so much more happier there.
But all we can do is dream and imagine just what it would be like...

11:00am
Monday morning

Today begins the darkest day... I will ever experience.

My first day at a new school...

I don't know how I'm gonna cope. I hate most people... especially kids my age. How am I gonna survive at this damed boarding school?
I won't have the four walls of my bedroom to hide in anymore... just great...

Perhaps I'm being ungrateful... my mother has gone to high efforts to pay for this school. I really should appreciate it...

"Jean boy! It's time to get going" shouts my mother from down stairs.

"I'm coming mom! Just let me grab some bags" I shout back to her.

I guess it's time to go now...
I take one last look at my bedroom and grab two bags which sat beside my bed.
I'm gonna miss my bed the most...
"JEAN!"
"Okay mum I'm coming now! chill"
I shut my bedroom door behind me and head down stairs then out onto the drive way. Mum is already sat in the car waiting. Anyone would think she can't wait to get rid of me? Hm.

The weather is reasonably warm out considering it's the middle of autumn.
I open the boot of the car and sling my bags in quickly, then I get into the front passenger seat.
"Okay Jean boy, let's go"
She starts up the car and off we go!
God I really do hope this school isn't full of dick heads...
"Have you got all your art equipment with you?" Asked my mum.
"Yea. I wouldn't forget that would I?" I reply rolling my eyes at her ridiculous question.
"Just checking. I know how much you love making art"
She was right, it's all I do. I've basically spent my 15 years drawing... mum even used to say I learned to draw before walking. Which is her being clearly sarcastic but still you get the picture all I do is draw.
I turn my head so I'm facing out of the window.
Well at least that's one thing I can look forward to and that is the art classes.

11:30 am
Monday morning

"Eren! For goodness sake wake up! Will you!"
I open my eyes to see my mum stood above my bed yelling like a maniac.
"You need to be at the school by 12:00! Come on!"
Wait school...
Oh yea school....
"Aghhh! I'm up late! Mum why didn't you wake me sooner!" I yelled.
"What do you think I've been trying to do for the last half an hour!" She snaps.
I sit up and rub my eyes. Mum was packing my stuff away into bags.
"I can't believe you have left your packing till the last minuet Eren!"
Ugh mum seriously needs to calm down.
"It's fine mum, just leave it to me I've got it" I say while hopping out of bed.
"Fine just hurry your father is taking you in 5 minuets."
She leaves the room and I'm left in peace. Finally.
I start throwing my clothes and other crap I may need into my bags. All while getting changed at the same time.
I was finally done and so I grabbed the bags and head down stairs.
"I'm ready!" I shout.
Mum and dad both enter the hall way and help pick up some of my belongings.
"Alright Eren, now stay out of trouble you here me" says mum while pulling me into a hug.
"Mom I'm not gonna get into any trouble jeez"
She pulls out of the hug and waves me and dad out on to drive way.
"I'll see you soon okay! Take care! Oh and give my love to mikasa I've not seen her for ages"
"Okay I will bye!"
Me and and dad get into the car and off we go.
I begin to feel a little nervous... I've not been back to school for a couple months. I've been in hospital you see...
"Eren, have you got your medication with you?" Asked my dad.
"Yea... I do" I reply.
Thankfully I got out of hospital sooner as my dad is a doctor there and we had a thew rules bent.
"Okay make sure you remember-" I cut him off.
"Yes I know one tablet in the morning two at night" seriously my parents need to stop worrying about me.

12:00
My mum pulls up outside the school, I haven't seen it before in person and let me just say... it's huge! Shit I hope I don't get lost...
"Alright Jean, I'm leaving you here" she says sweetly. I turn to her and reply "Alright, I'll ring you when I can"
She smiles and pulls me into a very tight hug.
"Okay-mum you can le-let go now. Your choking me!" She does as I say and chuckles slightly.
"Haha, alright alright. Now go on"
I hop out the car and grab my bags from the boot. I then wave my mum good bye and off she went. Leaving me alone in this... school.
I grab my bags tightly and begin making my way through the school gates.
Luckily because I'm a new student here I don't need to go to lessons for the first two days as I'll spend them getting used to the place.
Now then where abouts is dorm Rose.
Yes Rose is the name of the dorm I'm staying in out of the three options.
There was either Maria the least expensive to pay for, or Sina the most expensive. But luckily my mum was able to pay for me to get into Rose which is just in the middle of the two. I get my own private room unlike the people in Maria who end up having to share a room with up to 4 people. So I'm eternally grateful for mum paying so much for me.

I pull out a mini map of the school from my coat pocket as I literally have no idea where to go and no one was around to ask for help. They must be in lessons.
I scan the map in search of the dorm and I finally find it... on the other side of the school.
"You gotta be fuckin kidding me" I mutter to my self while shoving the map back in my pocket.

I carry on walking down the path and observed more along the way.
I'll admit the school grounds is really pretty. There was many trees and plants. And I even caught glimpse of a water fountain which was surrounded by benches.

Finally after what felt like years of walking I reach the dorm. It literally was on the other side of the school...
I walk up the steps and admire the design of the building.
The door was painted a vivid red colour which I guess was appropriate for the name Rose. And there was even flower beds of roses around the perimeter of the building.
I open the door with my free hand as the other was clutching to a bag, and made my way into the building.
And it was even more pleasant to the eye inside.
Theres an oak spiral stair case that I presume leads up to rooms and you could even see once again roses carved into the wood.
This place really does live up to its name.
I begin making my way up the stairs and quickly dig out my room key from my coat pocket.
I'm in room 17 so I don't need to head up so far lucky for me.
I begin walking down a hall way and at the very end I find my room.
I use the key and unlock the door...
I step inside and was actually impressed.
The room was well furnished, it has a double bed by the wall, a wardrobe, desk and it even has a tv.
I shut the door behind me and walk over to the bed which I plonked my bags on to.

I guess I better get unpacking.
I start with my clothes, as that was easy enough to put away in the wardrobe and drawers. I then moved on to another bag which consists of random possessions.
Like my sketch books, wires, books and other things.
I start with my sketch books and put them onto the desk next to the tv, along with some other art equipment like sets of pencils and water colours.

The rest of my belongings was easy enough to put away as well and I got everything finally done in an hour. Which means I can go explore for a while. Besides I'm starving and I need some food and a coffee.

Hey I apologise for the crappy short first chapter however I'm just starting the story off simple so it's easy to follow.
The next thew chapters will be better I swear ^o^ just bare with me!
