Chapter Six

Alec looked up at Emily, "He's... Dead... Isn't he?" Emily looked at the young boy. It had to be hard. Reunited with his siblings at last and one of them die? It's too much.
  Olivia walked through the woods, debating to save the boy. She heard a rustling in the trees and her eyes went green as she lifted a rock, "Show yourself stranger!" She yelled. A girl stepped out, "Hello, Olivia, it's been a while" she recognized the voice, "Bella..." Her eyes went back to normal as the rock fell. Bella went to Olivia, slowly. She removed the mask that covered most of her face, revealing burn marks. "Feel the guilt... Feel the pain you put me through!" Bella yelled at her as she pulled her bow from her back and loaded an arrow. Olivias eyes turned green as a rock lifted off the ground. Bella growled and let the arrow go. Olivia flung the rock at the arrow, deflecting it. Bella looked at Olivia, "You're lucky I don't have anymore time to spare!" She put the mask back on and jumped up and grabbed a tree branch then looked at Olivia, "I'll see you soon!" She pulled herself in the tree and jumped tree to tree till she was gone. Olivia growled and punched the tree with all her force. It cracked in half.
  Bella ran and soon found the people she was looking for. The mask she wore muffled her voice so she removed it. "Ju-So, Yusuke, Melissa, Aaron!" She shouted as she dropped into he clearing. Melissa looked at her, disgusted, neither Aaron or Melissa had their masks on. Ju-So and Yusuke did of course. "Olivia! She's here! We have to kill her!" Bella spoke quickly and loudly. Ju-So ran forward and tackled her covering her mouth. Bella moved the girls hand, "What's wrong Ju-So?" The female samurai looked at her, "Silence!" Her voice was elegant, but rough, gentle, yet forceful. The first word the samurai had said to them. All of them looked suprised. Ju-So looked into the woods, "Nearby." She said then went silence. She stood and pulled out her sword, the bushes russled. Everyone pulled out their weapons. The three hunters put their masks on. Emily, Alec, and Mia came through the bushes. Bella released the arrow.
  Thomas walked around, he heard the commotion and burst through the trees and sees the three hunters and two samurai, "What the?" Bella turned around and he looked at her, "Bella... I didn't know you were a hunter..." His voice was soft. The other two hunters faced him, "A demon... Go ahead and kill him Bella" Aaron growled. She looked at her bow. One arrow shot anywhere on his body and he would die... Bella pulled out her bow and aimed at him, more like a tree right by. She lets it fly.  It hits the tree and she looks at Thomas earnestly. He gets the hint. He spreads his wings and flies away quickly. Aaron looks at Bella, "What the hell?! Why didn't you kill him?!" He shouts at her. She looks at him, "I tried!" Ju-So looks at her and shakes her head silently. She grabs a tree branch, "Bad Bella" she whispers then is gone. Yusuke follows. Melissa and Aaron look back to Emily, Mia, and Alec. Bella walks to Emily, "Get out of here or we'll have to kill you, and I wont hesitate." She hissed. Emily looked to Mia. She picked up Alec. She turned, and ran. Bella looked at the other hunters then heard her watch beep. Time to go. "See ya" she laughs then runs away.
  Olivia walks for a bit then starts to head back. She decided, she would save the boy.
  Snowy sat, holding Jake, why did she care so much about this human? This is what she asked herself...
  Bella walks to the creek where she finds Thomas sitting on a tree branch. She looks up at him, "What was that?!" She yells, careful not to be too loud.
  Thomas smiles, "It was me being a demon and looking for a fight" he shrugs, "What's wrong with that?"
  Bella sighs, "Thomas, that could've made me kill you... I don't want to hurt you... But next time, I won't hesitate." She growls up.
  Thomas flies down and folds his wings back then hugs her, "Don't worry. Even though it'll be hard, we'll find a way. We found a way to have a hunter and half demon together."
  Bella wraps her arms around him and puts her head to his chest, listening to his heartbeat, "Tommy... It's because you saved me..." She said softly, remembering the night.
  That night, the flames spread so quickly through the wooden house. Thomas was there, supposed to take Bella's soul when she died in the flames. As they reached her room though, he couldn't help himself. After watching her for years, he had fallen in love. He had flown down like an angel, but he was far from that, and saved her. Instead of taking her to hell, he kept her alive.
  Thomas looks into her eyes, "Don't think about it Bella... It's all over now..." He strokes her hair gently. All over. For now... But deep down, he knows that it will never be over. They'll have to hide and eventually...
