Her phone vibrated on her desk top, and she slides her hand on too to find it. Her hand found it, and flipped her lock screen on.
"Regan, turn on the news"! A text from Willow.
She gets out of bed, and goes over to her television sitting on her dresser, and flipped it on.
What she saw nearly killed her. It was a beat up old red rusty GMC, the same kind of truck Aiden drove. With the text, "young teen found brutally murdered" written underneath.
She went to Aiden's number, and tried to call. One the first ring it went to voicemail.
"Shit". She called up Maddie.
"Hello"? Maddie sounded groggy.
"Oh my God, Maddie!
I think Aiden has been murdered"."Regan, it's 7 A.M on Saturday, I'm trying to sleep in. I only get Saturday to do that"
"What"? Her voice was shocked by Maddies calmness.
"Saturday. The day after Friday, and before Sunday".
"Did you hear me. I think Aiden has been murdered".
"Are you sure"?
"Turn on the damn T.V for Christ sakes".
Maddie turns it on, and can't believe it.
"Oh shit. Who would do such a thing"?
"That's a damn good question". Her phone starts to ring, letting her know a call is coming through.
"Hold on mads, someone is calling". She flips the call. "Hello"?
"Hello Regan".
"Who is this"?
"Someone who has been watching very closely. And may I say, that shade of gray is not your best color".
She looks down to her gray sweatpants. "Very funny asshole".
"Who said I was trying to be funny? By the way, a hit and run is a very serious case. Perhaps I ought to call the police now"?
"No! It was a accident. Are you the one who killed Aiden."?
"Alden got what he deserved. Same as you and your friends will".
She hangs up, ands he stares at the phone. She was worried what was to come. And with good reason, she should.
