The Dead World

This story is about Nate, Kian, Salim, Ena, and Isabella's life through the zombie apocalypse. It was a normal, same old day at Jacob Herring Elementary, an hour away from times square in New York. Me and my friends were in a period of math with our math teacher, Mr. Herald. He gave us a question to answer. It was: you have a chicken, grain, and a wolf. You have to bring them all over to a small island. How will you transport them all over? We are in 6th grade, so it would be easy. Isabella yelled out "I got it! You bring the grain over first so the chicken wouldn't eat it, then the wolf because the wolf would eat the chicken but not the grain. Then you bring the chicken." She's smart. I'm lucky to have her as my friend. Then the lunch bell rang. We went outside and all we did was talk. For a whole hour. Then, right in the middle of our conversation. There was an anouncement. It said" There is children... Eating each other. This is not a Joke. The children are getting eaten by others. Like there gore is out and stuff." Evacuate th- Aghhhhhh!!!!!!" We all were shocked. "Wait. Nathanial... We have siblings here.. Oh crap." Said Isabella. We all ran into the school and separated. Me and Isabella went to our siblings classes. So Ena, Kian and Salim stood at the entrance waiting. I ran to mine. My brother was getting cornered by pretty much all his class. "NO!!!!!!!" I looked for something sharp, and found two actual daggers. I grabbed them, and opened the door. I ran in, and started stabbing those little hell spawns in the head. Then one jumped on me. It threw me down, and I lost hold of the daggers. It was so close to killing me, when my brother grabbed it and threw it onto the whiteboard. The zombie got up, but My brother, Noah, beat the living crap out of it with his bare hands. Then he grabbed the daggers, and passed one to me. "Caleb! We have to get him." Said Noah. Caleb was my 4 year old brother in kindergarten. We ran to his kindergarten class, and found him. Pinned down. He was still alive, But pinned. He was being strangled by the zombie. I went in, and I threw my knife, and it hit the zombie directly in the head. We got Caleb, and I gave him my dagger. I looked around, and found a loaded hunting rifle. I cocked it, and we went to go get our friends. We found Salim, Ena, Kian, Isabella with her sister. But Isabella didn't notice something. Her sister had bite and scratch marks. Isabella looked, and then saw it. She then said, "what's gonna happen when, she Turns?" Oh, she knew. Isabella started to tear up. She fell into Kians arms. Oooh, maybe even a little romance will start up. "Whats that sound.." Said Salim. We looked right, and then we saw a huge storm of zombies coming our way. But in front were Jack and Cayden. They were alive and running towards us. Me And Kian ran and we brung them to us. Then we all ran out of the school and in to a house. Were safe for now.
