We are in a town house not far from the school. Once we were inside, Cayden and Jack just ran to the living room. They came back out with some 2×4 planks, and we barracaded the doors and windows. "Why are people eating other people ?" Asked My sister. "Guys. Its a zombie apocalypse. That's when people kill and eat other people." Said Nate. "Nate. Don't tell them that." Replied Ena. "Well, Ena, we can't pretend that this isn't happening." Said Nate "Jesus, guys.  Just shut the heck up." That's what I said. Cayden and Jack decided that they would hang tight for a bit, and then split. We needed all the help we could get. "Me and Jack will split in a bit." Said Cayden. " No. You guys are staying with us." I said. Then we heard lots of banging. Its was coming from upstairs. I slowly, walked up the stairs. And then, as I was at the top, five zombies came at me. I took out the knife out of my pocket and threw it into the head of one, and threw another one over the railing. "Nate! Gun!!" I yelled. He passed me the gun and I hit another zombie in the face. It fell to my feet. I shot the next one in the face. And the bullet hit the next one. Then with the one on the floor, I stepped on it. That was easy. Then we went downstairs. It was 8:45 PM. We had to get the younglings down to sleep. But we were all starving. There was nothing in the counters. We had to find supplies. Salim said he would stay here and watch the others. He had knives. And the rest of us went out to scavenge. We went out, and saw a Save on Foods. Just a couple of blocks away. We started walking, then Nate threw his hand against a house. It made a loud noise. "What the he-" "SSHH!" Said Nate. Shush? Did he just tell me to shush?! "Don't you even dare shush me."I said. "There is a weird zo-" I cut him short. "SHUT UP!!!!" I said. "Ladies first." Said Nate. I peaked over the corner and saw a huge white, zombie with an open stomach. Literally. I sneaked around and went into the Save on Foods with the group. We grabbed all the food we could hold. Then, that Volitile zombie came running. We all ran back to the house, And rebaracaded the house. I took the hunting rifle and shot it in the face. It died instantly. "How did you know to do that?" My sister asked. "Ever watched The Walking Dead?" We fed Noah, Caleb and my sister, then they went to bed. Kian and Nate went and watched the door. While the rest of us had a good sleep. The next morning, Kian and Nate were sleeping in there beds. Looks like they got tired at like 2. And then, I went out scavenging.
