"Addi, report back."

"Addi?!"

"Addison! Answer me."

"Camryn. Calm down. I was tying my shoe. It came undone because I was running earlier." I have a smile on my face. Camryn always over reacts when I don't report back. She and I are partners in crime. Literally.

"When are you getting back to the office? I need help with these cases. There's a big pile that's calling for you!"

Camryn and I laugh.

"I'm coming right now. I don't have my car so I'm walking. I'm on Brock Ave. right now. I'll report if something happens."

"Be careful."

"Will do."

I continue walking down Brock Ave. I don't know why but it's really dark down this certain avenue, and its bright out side.

I keep watching my back, cause you don't know what's gonna happen to you.

All of a sudden, something jumps out. I quickly grab my gun out of my handle.

"Who's there?"

I look around trying to find who's following me. I keep walking forward but then quickly stop and turn around. A baby ginger cat came out. It kept meowing. I wondered why I couldn't hear it before.

Just as I turned around, some man or very very bulky woman, in all black held my arm. He or she stopped me from putting my gun away. I officially had no weapon to defend myself. The only thing I thought I could do was run. But then I remembered I did Tai Chi for five years.

I looked hopelessly over at the person. It was a man for sure. The man fell for it. I kicked him in the groin. Then punched him in the face which hurt my knuckles so bad I'm pretty sure I broke them.

The man said, "Miss Addison Hart."

He sounded so drunk. He fell down on the muddy ground.

"Don't you dare mess with me." I said as I looked at him straight through his face mask. I grabbed for the face mask and through it at the wall. "Now I know what you look like so, sucks to be you."

I look at the guy again. I saw something I never thought I would see. He's had sharp fangs. Not like a vampire. Like a.. a. I don't even know. It looked very sharp though, and he had a Harry Potter looking scar on his cheek. He took his gloves off and it revealed claws like a bear and a cat mixed together.

He got up and I immediately tripped over a root in the ground. I fell on my back. He looked at me with an evil smile. Before I know it, he takes his claws, and makes scar on my face just like him.

I'm against a brick wall, the Ave. is a long long avenue. No one could find me. I'm pretty sure I'm going to die. Then I remembered the Report! But the man was right In front of me so I couldn't do anything.

My eyes were closing. The man with claws did hit me again though. In the chest this time. So I'm either gonna bleed out or get hit, punched several times and die. But everything I could see was blurry now.

Everything was happening so fast. I saw a man running toward the claw man in front of me. He had a syringe in his hand. The claw man didn't see him coming.

The man behind him stabbed him in the neck with the syringe. The claw man then falls backward. The man that rescued me reaches out for my hand, "Are you okay??"

I don't say anything. Everything's all blurry so you can't really blame me, plus I'm close to death cause I'm bleeding out.

I'm pretty sure the man that rescued me said, "I'm carrying you to the hospital. We are close. You're not going to die." It may be blurry but I saw the man smile at me.

"Pashunt is conshus."

"Is she gonna be okay?!"

"Sir calm down. She's conscious so she's fine for now. She needs surgery in the chest and lots of rest."

"Okay." He sighs.

"I'm Addison Hart." My eyes begin to close again.

My eyes start to open up. First thing I see is a man hovering over me. Who is this guy?

Wait. He's the one who saved me. And brought me here. I look around the hospital then back to him.

"Hey. You okay?"

"Yeah. I'm great." I say, "You saved me. Thank you." I smile.

"I'm Brevyn Locks. And I need to tell you something that can't be said to anyone." He looks so serious.

"Yeah sure."
