~Ko'ari POV~
I looked around. It was cold here in Skyrim. I was most definitely an outsider because of my accent. People kept trying to buy things off of me. I had to leave it was either that or stay in Elsewere and morn and most likely be killed. Now here I was in Skyrim.
I had stumbled upon a town called Riften. From the tales my elders told Riften was the place of love because of Mara but now I can see that things have changed. I could smell the city from outside the gates. As I approach the gate a guard walked up to me.
"Alright hand over the visitors tax." He said. I placed my hand on my hip.
"Or what?" I asked. "This is obviously a shake down."
"Alright shh just stay quiet and I'll let you in." He whispered. He walked to the gates and grabbed a key to unlock them.
"There you are lass." He concluded as I walked through the gates. 'Thank you' I whispered.
It reeked of rats and sewage.
I looked around. I was in the unpopulated grave yard area. I felt something strange move on my hip only to my surprise and sheer terror to find a hand in my satchel! I whipped around slapping the thief. A red haired man was sat on the ground with a look of shock on his face. He looked up at me and I did the first thing that came to my mind, I slapped him again.
"Oww!" He groaned.
"Do you steal from every girl you ever meet?" I asked.
"Do you slap every guy you meet?" He asked standing up and rubbing his cheek. There was a large red mark.
"Only the ones who try and steal from me." I sassed.
"Not stealing... admiring and I only admire pretty lasses coin purses." He smirked. My cheeks were set ablaze.
"Shut it." I said coldly.
"Aye lass you keep quiet about this now." He stated.
"Oh and why should I? Why shouldn't I call the guards right now?" I asked.
"Ahh so your stubborn I like that."
"I'm leaving,"
"Aye wait I can make you a deal."
"I'm listening.."
"You don't tell the guards and I get you a job and you'll be paid good coin."
"This job?"
"Thieving!"
