"Mommy" my son Cameron whispers softly to me "drink". I looked over there at him he had a soft smile. Of course I said. I got out of bed then picked up Cameron. "Oh honey your getting so big and mommy is getting to old" he just smiled and wiped his eyes. "Here let me put you down". I set Cameron down and picked out his favorite mug it had ninja turtles on it ;he loved those things.
As I walked over to the fridge I stepped in something wet then I got the smell of pee. I automatically remembered the puppy. Cameron looked up at me and said "puppy went pee pee". "Yes he did honey" I hopped over to the sink and grabbed a rag and wiped off my foot ;then to clean up the pee.
"Mommy drink" Cameron said as I walked back to Lilly's room to go wake her up. I quickly turned back to the kitchen to get Cameron his orange juice with Ice just the way his daddy drinks it, then I picked him up and put Cameron on the couch "don't spill honey as I handed Cameron his cup".
I walked back to Lily's room turning on the lights of the house as I passed the switches. When I came to her door I open it slowly not to make the door creak. I walked up to her crib and she was still hard asleep. I brushed my had over her head and slipped my had behind her it and picked lily up, then walked back to the master bedroom where my husband still slept. I sat down I set our little girl on his chest. As I did so my husband awoke with a smile on his face looking down at our little girl. He put his hand on her back and tried to sit up and not frighten her. "Good morning to my two beautiful lady's" he said with a loving tone looking at lily then me. I leaned over and he kissed me on my forehead. I crawled out of bed. Right before I left the room I said " I may love you but lily would love you a lot more if you would change her diaper".
I walked out of the room with a smile one my face not having to face the wrath of a newborns diaper in the morning. I headed to the living room to turn on the tv for Cameron when he's done putting on his clothes that laid out for him.
After getting my clothes on for work I grabbed Cameron's sneakers and went into the living room where Eric my husband was putting the daycare bag together on the floor with lily laying in Cameron's lap on the couch "honey can you buckle lily in while I help Cameron put his shoes on" I picked lily up and handed her off.
I changed the channel to news 9 to see the weather forecast for the day. "Mommy no" Cameron wined. "Hang on honey". "Today looks like a beautiful day out in the metro with a high of 78" said the David Pain the news anchor. After hearing that I looked down at my phone 7:05 it read oh no "come on honey let's hurry or mommy is going to be late". I quickly turned off the TV and finished tying Cameron's shoes. I kissed Eric on my way out, and headed out the door. I put Cameron in his booster seat and buckled him in.
I started the car and then I heard the background of hotel California playing softly. "Hey Cam your favorite song is on would you like mommy to turn it up". I peaked in the mirror and saw him started to wobble his head trying to find the beat of the song. I turned up the song and we started to jam out until lily started to cry. "Lily no no Lily" Cameron cried trying to listen to his favorite song. I turned down the music and Cameron started to cry "honey can you be a big boy for mommy your sisi is cranky". Cameron started to wipe his eyes.
I pulled into the daycare and unloaded lily I ran back to the car. I tried to find a radio station that had another song Cameron liked but I didn't and Cameron pouted the rest of the car ride to school.
