VERNON'S POV

the silence was deafening when we rode back to kwan's house , every now and then I always steal a glance from Seungkwan's lifeless expression 

he looks so broken and so fragile. 

' i want my sunshine back. '  

i paused , 'my'? 

I shook my head and continue to drive but then an idea popped out

I grinned and drove away from the original path , Seungkwan sat up properly and eyes me cautiously ,

"Where are we going?" he hissed

I just shrugged and continue to drive , ignoring the blonde's complains and remarks 

'I would do everything just to see you smile again.'

" An amusement park? " Seungkwan raised an eyebrow

I gulped , "What? Dont you like amusement parks? Lets go home then-"

"T-this is better , i dont want to go home yet. " he stuttered and walked towards to the ticket booth

I smiled , 'operation make Kwan happy is a go~'

As we entered the park , I can see Kwan turning his head in every stall excitedly , not minding that there are so many people on his path.

"Hey Seungkwan." I called out

He turned to me , "What?"

I grabbed his hand , "U-uh stick to me , there are so many people." , I saw him blushed , "O-okay."

i can see him trying to smile but then my gaze fell into a big stuff toy.

"Ya." I called out "do you want that?"

his eyes followed my hand , then he turned back towards me ,"I bet you cant win that."

I raised an eyebrow , " try me."

I tugged towards the booth where the stuff panda lies , " whats the game?"

The shopkeeper wandered her eyes at me , she smiled , " just shoot that bottle , pretty boy."

Kwan glared at the girl , "pretty boy?"

I handed a dollar at her , " just shoot that bottle right?"

She nodded and handed me the rifles, "Goodluck."

Seungkwan shot another glare at the girl , if looks could kill she'd be dead by now.

" Seungkwan , If i win this " I started "Will you go to the ferris wheel with me?"

" Vernon you know i hate-" he tried to argue but raised his eyebrow , "well okay if YOU win."

"Doubting me i see?" I chuckled and readied my aim

" i know you wont-" Seungkwan was interrupted by the bottle falling from the pedestal , "-win this."

I smirked, "I scored a perfect ten on archery at the idol's sports meet remember?" 

"you little-"

"Watch your mouth princess, " I grinned , "Youre going to the ferris wheel with me."

He pouted and mumbled something i didnt catch , "heres your prize." The girl then gave me the giant stuffed panda

"Hey Seungkwan , it looks like you." I laughed and gave it to him

"Because its fat?"

"No because its cute."

He then blushed and glared at me , "S-shut up i know that already."

"So should i get the tickets now?" I asked him

"U-uh yea , " he said but then paused "i just remembered i wanna try the sushi theyre selling there , just wait me at that bench okay?"

I nodded , " be quick!" 

he smiled and ran away , excited.

' Leave it to Seungkwan to wander off because of food. '

I finished getting tickets for the next ride of ferris wheel and its time to get Seungkwan.

I arrived at the bench where he said we would meet but turns out , he wasnt there.

"aish , where is he?" I asked myself , looking at my watch for the nth time , 7:30 , I left the ticket book 30 minutes ago.

Worry and fear ran through me ,

'He's lost alright.'

' Where did that dumbass go?'

Time ticked by and im still looking for him , the entrance , the ferris wheel ticket booth , the food stalls , everywhere.

Tried calling him but his phone is dead.

"Where the fuck are you Seungkwan?" I whispered to myself.

I sat down at the bench , clearly tired and drained , I began to lose hope and cant think straight

"Ya Vernon , why do you look so tired?" a voice perked up

I looked up and see Seungkwan with two packs of sushi in hand and the panda was slung at his shoulder

I got up and inspected his face "Are you hurt? Are you bruised?"

"I-i-"

"And at top of that , Where the fuck are you? I was so scared ! I thought you were gone-"

"A-ah sorry , i met a friend while i was buying and we kinda-"

He stopped talking when I hugged him , 

"Do you know how scared i was? "

"i thought you were gone , for good." 

"Sorry." I could feel him smile and he hugged me back.

"Dont leave me again , please. " 

"Y-yea i wont. I promise."

I hugged him tighter , fearing he would let go and run away , fearing he would leave again.

"I promise I wont leave you. "
