Ishqbaaz - Two hearts, Two Souls.

Part 10

Shivaay wakes up. Looks to Anika's side of the bed. It doesn't look as if someone had slept in it. 'Oh God! She is still mad at me. Why can't she understand that it is only till the child is born?'
He goes out to look for her, Soumya and Prinku both haven't seen her. Weird! She was always everywhere. He goes back to the bedroom, that's when he sees her note. Picking it up he read it.  In a numb state of mind, h sits on the bed still grasping the note.
'She left me. I can't believe it, she left me'.
And that was how Om and Rudra found him. Om, taking the note read it. Grimly he looked at Shivaay "I told you that you were going to regret your actions! Damn it Shivaay!"
SSO: "She should have understood me. I would never abandon her!"
RU: "Bhaiyya, by making her sign the divorce papers, you have abandoned her"
Om: "It's a good thing she left, at least she wouldn't have to put up with lady Baba's theatrics"
SSO:"No! I'm going to bring her back, it can't end like this!"
Shivaay puts on his clothes and goes to Anika's house. He finds everywhere locked. A neighbor tells him she had left for the Airport. He rushes there but too late, all flights for the day had taken off. He goes back home. The clan are gathered waiting.
Dadi:"Billu, where is bahu?"
Om, Soumya, Prinku and Rudra go to him. He shakes his head at them.
SSO: She's gone. She took the early morning plane. I don't know where she's gone"
Tej: Perhaps its for the best!
Jhanvi:"How can you say that?!"
Tej: But you have to admit,it would become very ackward, Anika one side and Tia on the other".
Pinky:" I really want a grandchild but I would have preferred it was Anika having it and not Tia!
She bursts into tears. Shakti holds her.
Just then Tia arrives.
Tia: Hello everyone! Why the sad expression! We should be celebrating. I mean now that she's gone, Shivaay and I can go on with the plans. Right Pinky mum?"
Pinky looks at her with so much dislike that Tia took a step back.  Just then they get an unexpected visitor. Dr. Chatterji.
Dr. Chatterji:" Good morning everyone. I just want to say that I'm really sorry for not delivering the results of the test on time."
Pinky:"But you did, you sent us the result"
Dr. Chatterji:" That's not right! I just got the result this morning and decided to bring it over myself" Looking from one person to another.
They all look at each other. Om, Shivaay and Rudra notice that Tia is fidgeting.
SSO:" Dr. We got a result stating that I am the father"
Dr. C: "Can I see it?"
The test is brought to him. He takes a look at it. He looks back at them.
Dr. C:"I don't know who sent this or why but this is a fake result! I have the real result here with me." He shows them the result. Shivaay quickly snatches it from him and reads.
Tej: "Well? What does it say?"
Pinky takes the paper from Shivaay.
Pinky:" O my mata! Shivaay is NOT the father of Tia's baby!"
Dr. C :" Not only that, Ms Tia has a lot of explaining to do.. She's not even pregnant!"
They all gasp. Pinky goes over to Tia and slaps her hard on the face. Rudra had to hold Soumya back, she so wanted to beat her to a pulp. And all Shivaay could think about was
' What the hell have I done?'
Dadi:" Billu you have to put a stop to the divorce proceedings, now!"
SSO: " No need Dadi, I never got to sign the paper".
Dadi: Then bring our Bahu home... Please bring her home.
Shivaay, Om and Rudra look at each other.

Two months later
Anika meets an Indian hotelier and he offers her job in one of his hotels in Istanbul, Turkey.
She didn't need to be told twice. It was a lucrative job with a very high salary. Soon was settled in Istanbul and with her excellent skills in event management was able to get offers for weddings and parties outside the hotel. She took to her job with such gesto. Anything to help her push the Oberois at the back of her mind. She still calls Sahil in India to let him know she's okay. But she didn't let on that she was no longer in India. He tells her that Shivaay has been searching for her but she had made him promise that he would never let on that she communicates with him.
It was at one of the events she was supervising that she felt dizzy suddenly and had to sit down quickly. Getting her bearings, she shook her head and  continued her work.
The next morning, arriving at work early so as to create plans for a high-class party taking place at the hotel. Her assistant brought her a cup of coffee but she was covering her nose and pushing the cup away. 'what is wrong with me?' She asks herself.
Later that afternoon, the hotel was having an update meeting. Standing up to give a presentation on her ideas, she felt dizzy again. Trying hard to fight it, she made to grab the head of a chair but did not manage to make it, she could hear them distantly asking if she was alright and to her horror fell to the floor then blackness.
She gained consciousness to find herself lying on one of the office couch with the Hotel doctor hovering over her. She tried to get up but he stopped her.
He asked "How long have you been feeling this way?"
He also asked other questions like 'Is she eating right? Any aberration for anything?
Anika answered them sincerely.
Then he asked: " Ms Anika, are you by any chance pregnant?"

The next morning.
Anika is in shock. She's pregnant. She's going to have a babies... no according to the scan, two babies, twins!.. identical. She just left the doctor's office with a picture of the ultrasound. Bringing it out of her purse, she looked at it again in wonder.

It's too early to say gender of the twins. But she still can't believe it. Her hands on their own volition covering her abdomen. With a determined raise of her chin, she walked into the sunshine. She had taken the day off so she decided to take a walk. She had a lot to think about. She was having Shivaay's babies. She realize he has the right to know. Her babies have a right to know their father, their family.  But Shivaay was with Tia now. Tears running down her cheeks and rubbing her tummy ' It just you guys and Mummy'.

OM Mansion
Dadi wakes up with a start. 'Anika!'
She rushes to Shivaay's room.
"Billu beta, you have to find Anika soonest."
SSO:" Dadi, Kya ba teh?"
Dadi:" I just know that something is happening to her and this is the time she needs us the most"
SSO: "I feel it too Dadima, but right now I'm helpless. It's like she disappeared into thin air!"
Dadi: " Keep looking Billu. We need to find her."
