Thomas ran down the alley taking in deep, shallow breathes... They were looking for him and it was only a matter of time before they caught up to him.
Silence. Silence was all Thomas could hear as he stopped to catch his breath. As the bag over Thomas' head was pulled, a bright light caused his pupils to dilate; sending chills up his spine. He knew that he should look back but he didn't dare.... Fear threatened to send him to tears and he wouldn't allow it... couldn't allow it. He picked up the pace,his life was on the line and that was his motivation to run faster. He needed to live another day on Earth.
