Jake's POV:
It was the middle of the night, and I couldn't sleep. I got on my phone to scroll through social media for a bit, to see that Alissa was online as well. So I decided to text her and see what was keeping her awake.
(J=jake and A=Alissa)
J: Hey 'Lissa, why are you still up?
A: Well I could say the same thing about you..
J: I couldn't sleep and I saw you were online so I decided to text you
A: I couldn't sleep either. Guess there's just alot on my mind
J: You know 'Lissa, I'm here to talk any time you need me🙄❤
A: I know...
J: what's up?
A: It's just-
A: I'm to scared to say it,, and it's not something to say over text.
J: Well seeing as your right across the hall, you don't have to say it in text, if you wanna talk I have a spot in my bed you can sit in
A: You are too nice to me😔
J: What's wrong?
J: 'Lissa please answer me
J: That's it I'm coming, make room in your bed.
Alissa's POV:
I had to stop replying to jake, he was being too nice to me. Way nicer than anyone has been to me in the past month. I couldn't handle it anymore, I had to let my emotions out, I started to cry silently which turned into sobbing. Before I know it jake rushes in and is sitting by my side and is hugging me.
Jake's POV:
I start laughing at my last text and start to get up to check on 'Lissa. When I quietly make it to the hallway, I hear sombody sobbing. It was coming from 'Lissa's room. I ran in to her room as fast, and as quiet as possible I rush in to see her laying in her bed crying her eyes out. I hated to see her like this so I rush to her side and engulf her in the biggest hug possible. Neither of us said anything, we just sat in the darkness hugging.
We've never been this close before. Emotionally speaking, when she told me what had happened, I wanted to jill someone..
