Jake's POV:
Tessa shot alissa and thankfully missed and got her shoulder because the police tried to take the gun from her. I quickly ran to Lissa's side and held her in my arms until the paramedics arrived. Before I know it I'm climbing in an ambulance with alissa and a couple paramedics and we are on our way to the hospital. Alissa had to get emergency surgery kn her shoulder so she didn't bleed out and the doctors made me sit in the waiting room. Everything happened so fast. I swear tessa better be locked up for a while, I will never forgive her. When we get home I'm just going to burn all of her things seeing as she still hasn't moved out.
2 hours later
"Alissa violets family?" A voice said, I looked up and saw a doctor, "I-I'm her boyfriend" I said standing up.
"Well, she is in the first room on the left, she did very well in her surgery and she will have to stay for a few days so we can observe her wound to make sure it doesn't get infected." He said. "Thank you do much, can I go see her? Is she awake?" I ask eagerly. "Yes you can you just have to be gentle and she will wake up soon she just needs to rest." He says "thank you" I say and start to walk towards her room. I walk in and sit in the chair next to her bed and take her hand in mine. "Never do this to me ever again." I say gently squeezing her hand looking down trying not to cry. "Don't worry. I wont." She whispered squeezing my hand, I look up and smile and kiss her forehead. "I was so worried." I said. She just smiled and we sat in a comfortable silence until the doctor walked in. "I'm sorry sir, but visiting hours are over." He says looking at me, "Please I need him to stay." Alissa begs. "I'm sorry but I'm afraid only family can stay over night." He says. "He is my family, he's the love of my life. Please, I can't sleep without him here." She begs again. "Okay, but be sure to rest and call if you are having any pain." The doctor says and walks out. We just sat in silence for a while until alissa spoke up. "I'm tired." She said yawning, "Get some sleep baby girl." I say kissing her forehead, as I start to back away to sit back down in the chair alissa pulls me into her hospital bed with her and cuddles up to me. "I will now." She says as she drifts to sleep in my arms.
