Hikari no Takashiro (Finale)

Okay so the book has been released and so many people are enjoying it! Now I don't have to hold back. Please remember this is a fanfiction and in no way affects 'Broken in Silence' and all characters minus Hikari, belong to the brilliant mind of Katze Snow. On to the grand finale! Also this chapter is the longest of all 3. Warning: I suck at fight scenes!

Takashiro sat stunned as he watched Hikari run away. The light having already faded away and left Wulfric Manor once more, shrouded in darkness. Takashiro stood and dressed, then sought out his master. He found Tanner still tangled around a shaking Alex and finally put two and two together. The ever shy Hikari must have figured out they had been watched and was embarrased.

"Well it's not a wonder the poor thing ran away. Who knew you were a one minute man Taka-san?"

"Really Alex? Honestly I'm proud of you old friend. It's about time you found something outside this manor that gives you some joy. What the bloody hell was that light by the way?"

Takashiro didn't have the patience at the moment to deal with Alex. And he honestly didn't know how to respond to Tanner. In that moment however, he didn't need to. The scent of blood filled the air and the shrieks of pain and fear that echoed around them held everyone's attention.

"HIKARI!!"

"Takashiro! Keep a level head! That's not Hikari you're smelling!"

"Why are both of you growling! Stop standing there like idiots and do something!!"

All three males ran towards the sounds and smells. Finally the source of the disturbance was revealed. Tobias and his loyal pet Sebastian stood surrounded by wolves, vampires and a few humans. Across from them stood a row of demons, one of which was covered in burn wounds and blood.

Hikari was still nowhere to be found, but that would have to take the back burner for now. War was about to break loose at Wulfric Manor. Takashiro stood in front of his master, and everyone was silent.

"To what do we owe this pleasure, Master Tobias? Surely you, above all else, should know proper etiquette for visiting? We have sent no invitations and you did not call ahead of your arrival. And if I recall correctly, you yourself said you would rather face the wrath of the devil himself a thousand times before you set foot on these grounds again. And you Sebastian. Did I not tell you just days ago never to return here again? That you were unwanted? I must say I am appalled. I expect such deplorable behavior from the ragtag mutts you employee to handle your dirty work or even these barbaric demons, but not from you."

"Well said, Takashiro. Alas my friend, I do not think my brother is as sophisticated as he would like the Zion Syndicate to believe he is. I say Basil, you are looking a bit sore. Have a wild ride before battle with little Tobi did we? My my Tobias, you should learn how to please a man. Young Basil here just can't decide which Wulfric son he wants to fuck. Now as much fun as it is to sit here and trade wits, I am a busy wolf and there is much to be done. You all know the way off my land. I suggest you take it now."

Takashiro watched the others very closely. He almost smirked at the angry flush on Sebastian's face, but he nearly down right laughed at the mortified expression on Tobias'. He watched as the demons disappeared, and the wolves headed back to their posts. The humans stayed close to Tobias, and Sebastian's hand rested over his side arm.

The atmosphere was so tense you could cut it with a knife. No one moved or said a word. Then Tobias took a step towards Alex. Before Takashiro could register what happened, Tobias had Alex in the air by his throat and Tanner frozen in place releasing a sinister growl. The demons reappeared and held Takashiro down to keep him from interfering in the frey, and the wolves gathered behind Tanner ready to pounce on command.
