Sasuke dashed into the spacious hotel room, "Naru!" Sasuke shouted.
"Sasuke?" Naruto says, looking at him worriedly, now standing at the edge of the bed. "What happened?" Naruto asks.
"No time to explain, we have to go, now." Sasuke said hurriedly, already starting to shove their things back into their luggage.
"Go? Go where??" Naruto questioned, confused.
"Anywhere. Away from here. Now." Sasuke said, his voice rushed and hiding.
"What- we have to go to school in two days! We can't just leave!" Naruto shouts, following the raven around the hotel room.
"Naruto- school is NOT important. We have other priorities!" Sasuke says, turning on his heel and gripping the blonde's shoulders. Sasuke's usual calm onyx eyes, where now wide and... terrified. Naruto isn't sure what scared him more, Sasuke's secretiveness, or his eyes.
"Sasuke.... W-what's going on...?" Naruto stuttered, swallowing thickly as the raven let go of his shoulders to run his fingers through his raven hair.
Sasuke sighs, looking down, "There was an outbreak... And your father hasn't been accounted for... He is either dead, or he snuck out." Sasuke says, looking up at Naruto. Naruto's face was wide with shock, looking at Sasuke with terrified blue eyes. "Naruto, listen to me. We need to get out of here, your father probably knows we are here. So Itachi arranged to meet up in a hotel a few towns over, ok? I need you to help me so we can get out of here." Sasuke said, Naruto nodding numbly and the two slowly start to pick you.

Once they were in the car and starting to drive down the winding road, there was a heavy silence in the car, making Naruto sigh and turning on the CD that was on earlier.

Naruto smiled, looking at Sasuke, "That was awesome." Naruto smiles softly, as Sasuke nods in confirmation. The next song plays.

The song slowly stops as Sasuke does, pulling into yet another hotel parking lot several towns over, officially 9 and a half hours from Konoha.
Naruto wasn't sure how he felt about the whole thing, but he was sure that he didn't want to see his father anytime soon, but he didn't know if this was the way to go about it. It was his last year of highschool. He didn't want to spend the year running from his father, there was no memory in that. But Sasuke wanted to keep him safe, and Naruto wouldn't take that from him.
Naruto sighed, unbuckling and getting out of the car with Sasuke. The two walking inside and checking in once again, finding that Itachi had already done so, they both grab their bags and walk to the elevator, rising to the top floor.

Opening the door, "Hello?" Itachi called from inside the room, the raven walked around the corner, a gun strong within his fingers as he aimed it at Sasuke and Naruto.
"Woah, calm down, just us." Sasuke says, raising his hands in a form of relaxation.
Itachi sighs and gestures for them to come in.
