I sat awkwardly next to my new acquaintance. I decided during this ride I should ask all my questions.
"What did you mean, 'not human', before?" I blurted out randomly.
Leo looked at me before smiling a bit.
Man, this guy was always cheerful.
"Oh..okay how should I explain this?
Oh yeah...So you know how you have two parents?"
I rose an eyebrow.
"I've...noticed?"
"Oh wow! I just sounded real stupid. Okay let me rephrase that. So, like me you have a mortal parent but you other parent is an Olympian," Leo explained while doing weird hand motions.
I looked at him.
Olympian?
"What do you mean 'Olympian'?"
"Olympian as in Greek God or their Roman equivalent," Leo answered.
Woah.
Woah.
Woah!
WOAH!
"You mean to tell my ONE of my parents are a GOD!"
"Nope their Justin Bieber-Of course they are a god! Are you deaf women I literally just said that!"
You blinked before running your hand through your (h/c) which was now greasy.
"So who is my Olympian parent?"
Leo looked at you.
"We usually call it godly parent,"
"Okay then 'godly parent'?"
"You can't just KNOW you're godly parent. Your godly parents claim you once you are thirteen and at the camp fire," Leo explained.
"Wait- We're going to a camp?"
"Well, yeah. Camp Half-Blood."
"What do you do at Camp-Half Blood,"
Leo looked slightly irritated right now.
"Find out on your own,"
You gave a slight mumble of 'fine' the slouched on your seat.
"Who is your godly parent?" I asked Leo.
"Hephaestus," he answered.
A slight shake on the ground.
Oh darn. I heard the name but I can't remember him.
"He is the god of fire and blacksmith,"
Oh.
Suddenly the 'car' pulled up to a halt ,which was unexpected, so my head had contact with the front seat.
"Ow," I mumbled.
Leo grabbed my arm to help me out of the car.
He grinned at me.
"Welcome to Camp Half Blood Chica!"
