Chapter Three

Lexies Pov:

I wake up expecting to be in my bed next to Alex, but I turn next to me to Mark, he looks beautiful sleeping. I kiss him gently on the lips, he sighs, opens his eyes and smiles.

"Hey Lex" he says in his sweet, caring voice.

"Hey" I respond back.

"Something wrong?" He asks me, he looks concerned and worried for me.

"Well uh, I don't know if you know but I'm kinda dating Alex" I say quicky.

"Kinda dating Karev? Kinda dating, how do you kinda date?" He asks wanting to giggle but being too annoyed I hadn't told him.

"Yeah we're dating, but Mark I love you not him, I want to be with you Mark. I want us to be us again! To be happy." I say hopeful he'll say it back.

"Oh Lex, I don't want to end your relationship for what a fling between us, a relationship that might not work out!? Is that something you're willing to risk" he asks me.

"Of course Mark, it's for you! I'd do anything to be us again to be with you! How many times do I have to say this? Once, twice and hundred cause I'll say it and I'll keep saying it till you get that I love you Mark, like alot. Like want to have cheesy dates with you, where we buy chocolates and binge watch TV. And get married and settle down and have kids kind of love you Mark!"

'I love you too but I don't think I can be with someone who doesn't confess to their boyfriend once you've done that let me know, but you should've told me you were with Karev Lex! Now I'm going to go check on a patient I'll be back soon." He says getting up to leave.

"Mark, wait!" I say get up and push him against the door and kiss him gently.

"Okay now you can go" I smile and he smiles back unlocks the door and leaves.

Mark's Pov:

I wonder why Lex didn't tell me she's seeing Karev!

"Hey is that on-call room open I
can't find an open one anywhere..." Karev says as he approaches me, shoot he must have seen me exit it!

"Uh, it's uh um... Occupied?" I say.

"By who, you were in their now you left!?" He says confused.

"Well yeah I guess..." I say trying to hide the fact I just slept with his girlfriend.

"Okay well I'm going to go lye there" he says.

"Um yeah okay!?" I say worried.

Lexies Pov:

I'm soo happy Mark and I slept together, I missed him soo much!

I hear the knob turn, yay he's back already!

He lies next to me, I feel his warm presence

"Hey so glad you're back already! So you want to continue from where we left off" I say with a flirty giggle.

"Lex!?" Alex says, omg it's him not Mark, shoot why am I soo stupid.

"Uh yeah sweetie?" I say thing to cover my tracks.

"Mark Sloan just left this room, I saw him checking on a patient next door and asked him if the on-call room he came out of was empty he said "Occupied?" so you cheated on me with your ex? Really!?" He says with anger and betrayal in his voice

"I'm soo soo soryy Alex, I didn't mean for you to find out this way! I love you Alex and I'm soo sorry! But I also love him and he loves me!" I say almost in tears.

"We're done, go be with Mark and don't ever talk to me again!" He says and leaves.

*A few minutes later*

"Hey you okay" I hear Marks voice.

"No, but I'm better now you're here" I say with a little bit of a smile on my face.

He lies down next to me, he strokes my hair and embrases me. I feel safe, with someone who makes me safe. With someone I love. With Mark.
