As Luc is pacing back and fourth repeating "Jade what the hell happened....are you ok?" And I was repeating "I don't know...I'm fine". Then I see Luc perk up like he was afraid of something. It was nighttime so I understood if there was something to be afraid of. Not worried, I get up to use the restroom Luc whisper yells "sit down now and stay quiet". Confused I do as he says. He comes over to me and picks me up. I start to push away but he holds me close and I couldn't move. Tired and all, I lay my head on his bare chest and go to sleep.
I wake up and I'm in a bed a really comfortable bed. I look around and it is a light purple room with a vanity, a dresser and pretty much every thing needed in a bed room. I get off the bed and go to the closet. Inside there are elegant dresses,and sweat pants and jeans. There was pretty much clothing for every occasion. I go to the window and look out side. It was a beach house at the edge of the water. There was a couple out there swimming together. They looked happy, like I wished I was. That was what I thought my parents life was before they.....well passed. I hear the door open and turn around to see a beautiful women at the door. She had long dirty blond hair like Luc. Her eyes were an darker grey than Luc's. She walked slowly over to me. And sat at the window seat. Then she said in the lightest voice "Look who's awake. My name is Maya and I'm the Luna of this pack. You have already met my son Luc. My husband is the Alpha of this pack, his name is Logan. He wanted me to welcome you to the pack. We knew your parents. They were so great.". She paused like she was waiting for me to respond. Then I said "wait you knew my parents.". Then Luc walked in and said "mom can you give us a few moments". Maya then gets up and walks out. Luc takes a seat next to me and scoots close.
Another cliff hanger. Ha! Told you so what did you think of Maya. Did you like her.
